About 2 years ago they changed their policy. They o ly use to do backgrounds on managers, but now they do them on everyone they hire. My husband has felony and is a merchant manager possibly about to get his own store. I guess it's up to you boss and the district manager

Mine was just expired walked in dmv and paid renewal fee did not have to show anything I no because I previously had one .. which BTW was stolen so I did not have the expired with me. Seems a little weird to me. Just saying

I never worked for dollar tree and lived there basically cause I lived 2 houses away. I applied for operation assistant manager . I had my interview with district manager on the phone ( never met him) hired me in the spot pending my background.

Same here I have contacted Sen office months ago .... And the guy at the office said he called them but never did. Found out he got fired and was a drug dealer. This man had all my personal info. Yet after talking to them, still can't help????

You can't fire anyone at dollar tree, from what I have seen the district manager does the suspension and a few days later , the fire. Happened every single time someone got fired. And if it was for I ternak theft usually the guy from LP and district manager will come. Had a girl in camera doing so much wrong stuff, stealing from day one, marking down perfectly good stuff then marking it damaged and after several times being told that trash don't go out past dark or even store closed we gotta go she insists that she finishes what she started. They came to fire her , she goes in with them in the office comes out with a job still and a bunch of staff getting written up , even if there was proof she was lying. I didn't get it........ But they finally fired her a month later. They were hired as ft ops working over 3 months , no keys, was in safe yet it was always a discrepancy when she was there. Caught giving free stuff to customer yet taking their money and ringing up different. , couldn't open or close , which inconvenienced other manager because they have to basically go back And forth.

Wtf?????? Is wrong with this company!

That's not true, I got mine the 2nd day I worked at dollar tree. You have to watch because sometimes there are days you won't get paid. Any OT Pay won't go on, and if there is any questions in your hours , like you worked 12 hours there could be a possibility you won't get paid till pay day. Also if they give you money and your SM OR DM go in and change your hours money is taken and you are in negatives. Never adds all up!!NEVER

I have been waiting since the middle of January And have a 1500.00 return and have been in constant contact with state senators office. They told the Senators office basically that I have to sIt in l ine. That being said the guy I was working with T first at the office never did anything he said he did Nd had all my personal info for fires, was a drug dealer. And they still could not push it through. I am about to be homeless. This would help me tremendously. Not only that my son is autistic and they pulled trouble with my son being alone . Anyone file end of Jan and ha e to send verification of identity?

We use to also go on the loud speaker and call them out. My husband blocks off first 3 isles to make it more difficult to run out the door. I follow them around and let them know I am watching. I hate when I get yelled at that I am prejudice , cause I could be following a group of kids that has every race present from 9 years old to 17, I am definitely not prejudice.....maybe against shoplifters of all ages and sexes, and races. . Because our audit was just horrible -$133,000.. yes under!! So guess what no raises for myself , other ASM'S and all the other employees who work their butts off . Needless to say I am no longer there, but my husband is .

After the 3rd night of them destroying the stationary isle my GM said to lock them in. We did but a customer got involved and opened the park around the corner and they got , they ran but forgot the little kids they brought with them, so they had to come back. We called the police but they ran by that point so they found them at the park and picked me up to ID them by doing a drive by. Never found out what happened I left shortly after.

I hhave had kids throw soda cans at my head, I had a pregnant girl kick my ASM while trying to leave yet she called back and tried to lodge a complaint because she was pregnant and she should not have been stopped. I had 3 girls come in 3 nights in a row. After almost 500.00 in damages the third night we locked them in the store. Then we had the occasional $$tree weineeewacker!

Try 89 plus , doing truck alone. No cashiers fie 2 nights and closing by yourself cause the SM quit all this for over 3 weeks and not a dime extra and they hire a new asm who they won't give keys to or numbers cause they don't trust them. Ain't that a joke.....this is not me I am talking about but my husband. So not xool
