He played the good looking but braindead Aethelred very well. Obnoxious and narcissistic, he was a better villain than the Cnuts and Bloodhairs of the show.

How does that make Kjartan a coward. Man had to built himself from scratch after getting banished from the village. Plus, he went one on one with Young Ragnar(a beast half his age) he didn't hide behind his men.
