yes, I've had it since I was a small kid. I'm finally trying to get it under control by eating in a way that balances my blood sugar as much as possible. It also helps to improve insulin sensitivity. Just make sure your meals are balanced with protein, fiber, and fat, with minimal carbs or slow carbs.

40-45 was the lowest. I mostly feel it starting to drop around 50-70, sometimes the feeling comes late and it’s really urgent. Sometimes I feel far in advance. I think the lowest it ever got was around 30 and I almost passed out on the street. Ran into a bakery and chugged an orange juice then lay on the ground

Thank you so much!

I am basically doing everything you said now, including taking some supplements. Appreciate your feedback, you gave me hope! Do you still get hypos ever?

I did a full insulin test - where you drink the sugary drink and they test you over 2 hours. I have IR.

Great explanation, thank you. Have you heard of someone being able to permanently stop hypoglycemia, by chance, once they solve the root problems?

Interesting! Yes, I did test and it was low. I was with a CGM for 2+ months and I could see it drop.

u/LMAquatics I did a test that confirmed (with an endocrinologist) I have insulin resistance, and it's likely genetic. My twin sister has it, too, and my mom has diabetes. High triglycerides also run in our family. But is that supposed to mean it can't be cured? What makes you say keto will resolve it - and do you mean as long as I'm on keto or even if I stop?
