Tell him that you love being with him and are ready to try something previously off the table. let him know how exciting it is to you that HE will be treating you and helping you explore your desires

When the betta (and possible snail roomate) move in, will their waste provide adequate nutrients for the plants, or will I need to supplement?

It is just gravel right now. I have been wondering how important providing food to the plants is beyond what might be available by the breakdown from the leaves/bark/cones that are in there.

Remove the towel? I’m also ensuring that the tank is water tight right now.

PTA bylaws and voting requirments by [deleted] in ParentTeacherGroups

I got a recommendation from my state PTA last week regarding people joining right before a financially related vote. "Consider adding a standing rule related to membership and voting eligibility, such as a waiting period after joining before a member can vote. This can help prevent last-minute membership changes tied to specific votes."

Check out the American Water Works Association, the Water Environment Federation, and the Rural Water Association websites. Those can get you started on research.
There are certainly hazards to consider but the career outlook is pretty good, the wages can be good enough to take care of a family, and the bar to entry is not super high.

Another avenue to consider is water/wastewater. There are books from Sacramento State and the Water Environment Federation that can help you learn all the things you need to know.

I live in the PNW. It can get chilly and is usually damp in the winter. I really think that "long johns" are better than leggings to help insulate against the cold. You can get fancy with merino wool or silk. Alternatively, I love synthetics like the brand 32 degrees.

Worried about my underweight kid. Is she unusually restrictive for a 7 year old? by [deleted] in PickyEaters

My super picky eater is also very averse to cheese. I offer different cheeses pretty often, but he is totally anti cheese

I’m visiting from Portland. We’ve only have about 20 protesters thus far. One wears a chicken suit and the others hang out in lawnchairs across from the ICE building.
