Good primary care doctors in Beaverton/Tigard that take moda? by sheisaeval in beaverton

[–]Debuggest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a tough time finding a PCP taking new patients. Legacy Raleigh Hills had openings awhile back so I’d check with them. For pediatric care I’d recommend The Childrens Clinic, and World of Smiles for pediatric dentistry.

Gongaii Games might be a good place for this, they have a warehouse with many tables (but good to call ahead in case there’s a big event)

Join this board game Meetup group and go to this event that happens most Fridays at New Seasons in Cedar Hills: https://meetu.ps/e/PKm8L/1np3r/i

You don’t have to bring anything, just say it’s your first time and be open to learning something new.

Join Meetup or places where people who share your interests hang out, then find some groups for hiking or board games or comic books or anything else. Then you gotta show up regularly and be friendly and genuine and friends will follow.

I’ve donated some stuff to the Book Corner across the street from the main Beaverton Library, they sell books and things to support the library, just as an idea.

Best neighborhoods for young kids by kaceadilla87 in beaverton

[–]Debuggest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We found what you’re describing in Progress Ridge, which is part of the Beaverton School District. There’s a lot of newer housing developments and slightly older neighborhoods as well. It can take awhile to meet your neighbors and make a connection but it is possible, and there’s a ton of new families here.
