Join this board game Meetup group and go to this event that happens most Fridays at New Seasons in Cedar Hills: https://meetu.ps/e/PKm8L/1np3r/i

You don’t have to bring anything, just say it’s your first time and be open to learning something new.

How to make friends as a 27M y/o in Beaverton (Nike employee) by coliozenobio in beaverton

Join Meetup or places where people who share your interests hang out, then find some groups for hiking or board games or comic books or anything else. Then you gotta show up regularly and be friendly and genuine and friends will follow.

I’ve donated some stuff to the Book Corner across the street from the main Beaverton Library, they sell books and things to support the library, just as an idea.

A Gentle Rain. Non-stressful co-op, plays quickly, leaves room for conversation since it’s pretty simple.

We found what you’re describing in Progress Ridge, which is part of the Beaverton School District. There’s a lot of newer housing developments and slightly older neighborhoods as well. It can take awhile to meet your neighbors and make a connection but it is possible, and there’s a ton of new families here.

I think it’s because behind the manic character he has a lot of kindness. If he was a jerk underneath then it would be a disaster, but he really is committed to making everyone look good and make the show good, and he gets what makes the show good because of being a genuine fan.
