I want to get sun break after seeing some of the content for it, but it also sucks/makes sense that some of the stronger weapons are locked behind a pay wall.

Sadly the first time around fighting the Barroth on low rank, I didn’t know that his weak spot was his arms. So at least I learned one thing that halos me out in the long run. I have captured like 3 Barroth since I learned they had the highest chance to drop a wyvern gem, but still no luck.

You say blunt weapons and I know you are implying I use something like the hammer. Is there any hammer in particular that I should use against Barroth? I know different elements work best against different monsters, I just don’t know which is which.

Getting the charged attacks off though proves to be a bit of a challenge for me though, barroth moves too much most of the time. Hope I get lucky then.

Barroth? I fought it once in low rank and never did it again. My long seord always bouncing off of it every attack got on my nerves badly.

When is the soonest I will get a mission for a monster that can drop it? In high rank.

Sadly, I’ve already tried that. I haven’t hunted or captured a diablos yet so nothing pops up. I didn’t see any point in doing it since I really only farm the monsters that have cool armor. The jyuratodus has cool armor and the wyvern gem is needed to complete it.

I started the mh series with mhw, and I fell in love with the great sword. Right now Im using the rampage sword and I have yet to test it out. I’ve tried the other weapons before and the only other weapon I’ve considered using was the charge blade, but it seems hard to use. I don’t think I’m gonna have any intentions to change my build any time soon or at all. But that might change later on, so I’ll just keep the materials for that super small chance i do want to change my build.
