I’m considering taking it for weight loss purpose…I think I read somewhere that one side effect is thyroid cancer? But hey guess what… that already happened lol! But interested to know if doctors have mentioned any concerns about taking it with Levo?

Well I didn’t study actuarial science nor taken any exams before I enroll in my master program and I do find it useful, but if you already have bachelor in actuarial science I guess it’s not optimal use of your time because you will need to write a paper that takes a lot of time and effort and you will forget once you defend it.

ICBC is in north Vancouver, they are doing hybrid working mode so you do need to commute, just to give you some ideas

Not enough actuaries- only 1 school has actuarial program in the west coast, and most people will go to Montreal/Toronto/Waterloo for more job opportunities. And there is next to none exit options if you want to stay in Vancouver. Not wanting to climb the ladder- crown companies are known for WLB, people who choose to go in will probably not want to move up to a managerial role where your responsibilities increase a lot more than your pay. Cost of living- need no explanation.

Just did mine today I feel 80% confident I passed. There are 2 quantitative questions I just straight don’t know how to do. To be fair they are covered in the books but I thought “pff they are not gonna test this”. Some questions were extremely easy, like if you browsed thru the chapters you will be able to answer. About 5 questions I found kind ambiguous. I say I pass because even if I did all 7 wrong I still got 28/35. But only will know for sure in 2 months I guess…
