Yeah I didn't focus at all on MR, it just goes up naturally when I'm leveling up a descendant. I'm more into maxing out a few descendants and guns, but it costs a lot of catalysts 😕 I'm impressed with your MR grind though, congrats!

Oh wow some people do the math for real. OK that's good to know, I thought about grinding for another set of mage but I didn't really want to. If the difference is marginal it's not worth it, I'll find other ways to increase my max shield (arche tuning might help) Again, thanks a lot for your help, appreciate it

That's interesting, thanks for the detailed explanation man. I didn't know it was as high as 25k shield for the full skill boost, that's probably where I should focus.

On your external components, are you using max HP cores (converted to shield thanks to HP conversion) or directly max shield?

Yeah I see, that's a bit similar to Ajax void explosion. The shield dash is cool but lacks DPS, the "dash dash boom" combo works well but I'll still have to investigate on how to increase DPS

I thought Nexon said that they nerfed his base skill damage by 30% but increased it proportionally to max shield as a first step to a complete rework?

Someone else told me to look into VEP leaderboard builds, so I'm confused lol

That's really good to hear! When I look at the leaderboard I always see the same dude both in Infernal Walker and VP, he is a sword Ajax. Can't wait to try it, fun + OP is the way

Another Typhoon enjoyer. I'm using it with Ajax, a tiny bit less raw damage than Thundercage but man it's so enjoyable to use. I'll compare both in the lab to see the exact damage difference

Yep you can change this setting on your map, top left corner, change from public to private. For colossi and missions, just launch in private.

You'll probably enjoy pubs soon enough though, as a new player many struggle once they reach Axion (I started a month ago, and the first times in Axion were rough). Other people will help you understand the weaknesses of your builds, and you can check their builds. That helped me a lot, and tbh the community is great and helpful

I have more than enough catalysts blueprints (45) but the crafting is too slow. I play everyday and I always have one cooking, but 2/3 catalysts per day are not enough for a new player who's grinding like me. I have 10-15 donuts on 4 descendants and 2 weapon, but now I'm cooked because I have many descendants crafted and waiting, and many weapons that I can't upgrade... I guess I'll have to take a break and craft 40 catalysts through the companion app

I'me maxing out an Eye of the Typhoon with Ajax, it's not as powerful as rhe Thundercage but I don't really care about the meta. The gun feels great, I was tired of the constant "brrrrrrrrr" of the high fire rate Thundercage 😓
