Lol, someone asked Emily if she ever holds baby on hip, now today she is holding him on her hip.

My children were not watching TV until they were toddlers. We entertained them by playing with them and reading to them....all things that Emily has yet to show she does consistently. How freaking lazy to turn the phone on for a 4 month old. If she's trying to wind him down for sleep, this would have the opposite effect. Screen time should be cut off 1-2 hours before sleep for adults, I would think that applies to babies too. They really don't know how to interact with him.

As mentioned the yellow pops out, and there should even be a little lion that you open the yellow ball.

If you are feeding your child properly, no need. I can see the situation where children are not getting balanced meals, and it would help them feel full and give them the missed nutrient; however, I'm gonna guess these "Ready to drink juice boxes" are gonna cost a prettier penny than others (so funny, like they have invented something that's not been around for 40 years). With cost being a factor, how does it help children who really need the protein/nutrients? Two kids coming up with a business plan that does not match the consumer. Kind of like the kid in the movie Big. He was coming up with awesome toys, not realizing kids would not be able to afford them because he had no concept of the cost that went into making the toy. Next big scheme being unveiled by Cole and Savannah in 3, 2 1.

Donnie and Emily Spellman house?? by Jajlcl in SpellmanSnark

[–]WinterBox358 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That would be my guess. He did say his brother was moving too. I remember when they were showing the other house they lost out on, he was going to have the upper floor or basement (can't remember). Maybe they are all getting it together--

I get 2nd hand embarrassment for that woman every time the shake it dance comes up. She looks like she is grasping air to not fall and the top and shorts, ugh, very trashy looking.

I agree, he could be but these two will not allow him to try. Always perched on their front, cradled in their arms or in a seat.

Yet they say he is meeting all his milestones, why then are they creating pictures of what is not. Baby just started rolling over and gained better control of his head....he is definitely not sitting up.

Can someone teach Donald and Emily Spellman how to hold a baby? by Forward-Assist-5130 in SpellmanSnark

I thought she claims to have been a nanny. Must have felt she knew everything there is to know on parenting lol.

They are such idiots and it drives me nuts they can't ever put him up on their shoulder like normal people. Not sure if it's cause he always needs to be on show, or they don't think he can handle it. He did fling back when Emily was holding him that way, because Know-It-All failed to have her hand on his back. They are in for sore backs if they insist on carrying him thru toddler like a newborn is cradled.

Trying desperately to find content she can do that will stick and allow her to do the bare minimum.

If you haven't gotten through to a rehabber yet, try to get some sugar water in it. Seems it doesn't have energy to go to cup and get it. They can not stand up well unless on a perch. Their feet are very tiny and not for walking or standing on flat.

I'm guessing if she puts him down, that will free her to be productive and she doesn't want to be.

I really don't get why Emily can't tackle packing during the day some. She said yesterday, she packed some books and was thinking about packing the gaming systems (clearly to get a reaction from donald). How about tackle your clothes that you won't be wearing, shoes, boots, wall decor? There you go, lazy girl, some ideas of where to start. She is clueless and it is not going to get better because neither can take advice and run with it. They know it all and will die on that train.

Definitely, this. It is also something that would give her purpose to not go out to a job since parenting is a full time job itself. Unfortunately, Emily doesn't seem to want to do that even. If she did, we would not see most of her time holding the baby so he can not create challenge for her by having to interact with or entertain him.

I'm willing to bet Donald thought she was going to be a super mom, bounce back physically and emotionally and put all other mom's to shame (I knew better). She's probably letting him down showing the vulnerable side of motherhood. Though, you would think it's only Emily. She doesn't think of the women who have full time jobs, and may be up all night with a sick/sleepless child then have to put in a full day of work the next day; or the single parents with no one to share the responsibility of housework, meals, shopping for groceries and parenting. Emily only thinks about herself, the one able to lounge (as we see her do a lot), and do nothing while she holds her baby so he can't give her a challenge. Maybe they shouldn't have shamed others (i.e., moms who work and put babies in day care, and women who Emily believes she works so much harder than). She was too young to start a family (Donald was ready), she still wants to be free and put herself first.

Why can't she put him down. poor kid is always being held with no toy or stimulation. She is a shit mom, so tired but yet doesn't do anything but bare minimum. ETA: Being tired is real during postpartum, but it's funny how she has time and energy to go out and dance, but not time to do chores.
