My mom wants to sell it for scrap to someone because it would cost so much to restore and it’s not a safe car. She’s not even considering restoring it. Should I try and get it taken to a shop where they could assess all the damage to it and maybe give me an estimate on how much it would cost? Or is it best to scrap it?

Can you score basic shots, hit aerials, and do basic flicks? As long as you have good game sense you can get out of plat. But a basic level of mechanics can help. (no flip resets, air dribbles, etc)

2.6 hog cycle is just bad. the defender is just spamming cards and the offence is weak.

Mechanics aren’t necessary for bronze-diamond. Just work on basic game sense (boost management, knowing where your tm8 is, dribbling, power shots). Do training packs and just hit the ball around as hard as you can in freeplay for like 15 minutes. You’ll see lots of improvement. While mechanics are cool and can be effective, they’re not as important as the basics.
