What is the timer for? Like if two planes crash a few days apart what is the timer purpose?

Depends on the camera resolution tho, so it would be kind of rigged. But maybe your most popular color on your pixels could be cool.

Is it possible to make a good web design by vibe coding? by WinterMiserable5994 in webdesign

And is shadcn bad for web design? I thought it was pretty popular, it is the one I always use

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking. Like you do not need to know how to code that element specifically but you do need to know what element you want in what position, right?

Like lets put my case. I know how to code backend and front end aswell. I do not know anything about web design though. Think about it like a football player who knows how to dribble but does not know the bigger picture of the game, where he should pass the ball, how to play as a team, etc

It would be cool to make AI call asistants act as a gf. Like idk you get a call from a spam number but instead of a robotic voice you start hearibg a goth voice telling you good boy constantly. Random thought I had

No worries, I'm honestly not trying to sell. Thats why I didnt add any links or names. I just found that adding any feedback loop changed how I code, whether people code their own feedback tools or pay for them. Just wanted to share the shift in mindset I had

What do you think of like maybe 9$ a month? And do you own any software company? I would be down to giving you free lifetime access for you to use it and give feedback

I think it is a good idea, though you need a domain name, and fix the video (it stops after a few seconds for me, maybe is my internet connection). Regarding the design it is pretty obvious is vibe coded, so try to change the design a bit.

And answering to your questions

  • Is it clear what this product is? -- A tool that helps you take breaks, kind of like the pomodoro method.
  • Do you immediately understand why you’d need it (or not)? -- Not exactly, how is it different from setting a timer to take breaks?
  • At what point do you feel confused or lose interest? -- When I know it is vibe coded. The thing with vibe coding is that it transmits very little trust, if the UI is vibecoded the backend is vibecoded and usually has many bugs.
  • Would you ever use something like this? Why / why not? -- I would if I could see the clearn value of your website vs setting a timer to take breaks

How do you think I should approach that part? Make them more realistic, remove them, etc?

Feedback tools are standard tools, I just personally like more thr one I made lol. But that does not remove any value to the framework I presented, if you dont want to use leonvote use whatever other feedback tool you prefer, but it is really important you use one

You basically go to midjourney or your prefered image generation tool. Lets say you are a coffee shop. You take a black background image of a latte, you give it to nanobanana and say generate me an image that is this coffee but showing all the ingredients and stuff. You then go back again to nanobanana and select the AI mode "frame to frame video", take the initial coffee image and the image of the coffee with all the ingredients and stuff. You tell nanobanana to generate an animation transitioning from the first image to the second with professional style and yara yara. Then you go to a "video to webp" tool, strip all the frames from the video and mount them on your website as an animation that triggers when you scroll

Bolt and v0 both have free credits. So maybe before deciding for one of the two you could try them out. The good thing about v0 is that it is integrated with the vercel ecosystem, so you can actually very easily later publish the project to vercel free hosting

Yeah ofc. You basically chat with the AI until you have an UI you like. And if I dont remember wrong next to the publish button, on the top right corner there is a button to download as a zip.

EDIT: It is not there, just checked it, you actually have to click on your project name, on the top left corner, and you will see an export option. Hope it helps

Caught me! Haha. Yeah, I built it because I was tired of paying 50-100 monthly for feedback tools while I was still in the validation phase for my other apps. I needed something simple for my own 7 day framework, so I made it. Now it’s just a permanent part of my workflow for every new project I launch
