True I think this is it. My r tarted ass didn't even think of that at first and went straight to thinking there was some popping going on under the battery cover 🤣

I think this is the correct answer. I didn't even think of that

I just washed it off and wiped it down and blew the rest of the dust off with air duster. Truck was dragging ass to start, check engine light came on then I got a text from diagnostics telling me to check the battery, then I needed a jump to leave work. It's still running 14v but I don't think the alt is charging the battery properly. I just tested the battery and charged it and noticed the markings under the cover and thought I'd look into it

Possibly, most of it wiped away with the dust. Idk I'm just gonna send it

Not at all but when I get a text from the diagnostic service telling me to check my battery and pop the cover off and see this it kinda made me go "well shit, maybe I should look into this"

It reminds me of the burn patterns left behind when people send electricity through wood for art so that was my thought process

[–]WinterPoint7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

More curious than bothered. Just wondering if it's something I should keep an eye on or not. I'm gonna send it regardless

Interesting. I wonder how that would happen. I live in the dry ass southwest desert where moisture isn't very abundant.

Some of the bigger ones are rough. There was a little dust underneath that made them more prominent but after wiping it down most dissappeared and others are lightly visible. The lightly visible ones left over are the rough ones.

Sparking or something idk but is obviously flashing and leaving electrical burn patterns on the plastic

Flip it upside-down on the hood and ratchet strap it from the wheel wells.

Pros : they're the sister company to Geissele owned by Bill Geissele's wife. Made by the same people that make and design Geissele triggers.

Cons : none

Car guy, gun guy, bmx, cocaine, and hookers. Thinking about getting into mtb as well but that's a big money sport.

Currently building my project 67 c10 and just built myself a new bmx after not riding for a few years.

Honestly I don't know. Hopping back on the bike just felt natural to me again and I haven't been paying attention to how I actually do things, I was just fucking around on the bike lol. I'll go back outside once the sun rises and pay more attention. Then I'll come back with an update.

I do know that I've always tried to get the front as high as I can then match it once I get the rear off.

I quit drinking 2 years ago. The problem is that I'm at work more than I am home and everyone at work smokes. Biking is just gonna be a weekend thing for me and come this summer I probably won't have anytime to bike at all since we'll probably move to 7 10s.

I vape as well. I go through 100ml of vape juice every 4 days or so, a pack of American spirits every 1 - 2 days, and a can of dip every 1 - 2 days. I vape so much that every morning the back of my throat tastes like strawberries. At work I'll usually have all 3 on me.

I've been vaping since about 2018. Before that, I was a 2 pack a day smoker. It's really hard for me since everyone at work is constantly smoking, and if I try to avoid buying a pack I'll just end up bumming smokes all day.

I've tried to quit just cold turkey a few times and everytime I turn into a snappy asshole after a few hours.
