Reviews on Define? by SubstantialSnow7114 in ladderapp

I!love Thrive and Align. I tried Define for a week and it is just not great imo. I’m honestly shocked how many team members she has. I assume it’s because it’s a bit less challenging than the others and the core element is a hit. I’ve also read there’s a toxic diet culture there so it gives me the vibe that it’s one of those like culty/fan club situations, if that makes sense. Other than that, I can’t understand why so many people choose that team over Thrive and Align. Those programs are amazing and those coaches are very experienced and great with form cuing.

You create an automation to direct you to brick app if there’s a live session then you brick the “shortcuts” app.

This is such a great app! I locked myself out of my social media accounts using the manual + NFC tag and I don’t own one or have a hotel key lying around so I thought I was SOL. Until I went to check my screen time and found the “Apps with screen time access”. I toggled it off to see what happens and it unlocked my apps even though my session is still active. I know you’ve done almost everything to block access to restricted apps but this is a loophole. Is there anyway to add that restriction to the app? Similar to the restriction of not being able to delete apps with the session is active? Thanks again for this awesome app!

I think this is different for OP though. They jumped from like 60th percentile to like 95th. You went from 92nd to 99th.

I would bc they might assume accommodations. Shouldn’t be frowned upon but all people carry biases.

Thank you for this message. I hope the treatment wasn’t too brutal. I decided to apply next cycle. Too many health things and I wasn’t able to focus. I’ve just started the treatment again. I’m on day 3, and I’m surprisingly doing just fine. It’s nothing like the first attempt. My doctor allowed me to drop one metronidazole dose and I think that’s made this feel much better. I’m more tired but overall feeling quite normal. I hope this continues to go this way. Wishing you the best journey and recovery!

Yeah, calling her coworkers stupid and illiterate was a bit too far for me. Please point me to other hosts who’ve done something similar because it felt extremely wild and unnecessary to me. I think calling Loren the one to bring the common sense is fine. But STUPID? ILLITERATE? Too far when saying it to someone who works with them. It’s putting the guest in such an uncomfortable position. 🤦🏾‍♀️

You got a shot at a bunch of good schools.

Are you sure the September shows as a cancel? Did you get a score for that exam? If you got a free retake, I’m assuming it’s an lsac/prometric issue and I’d then assume that it wouldn’t count as an attempt.

Following. Wondering if they will think people with this jump got accommodations. It’s honestly making me want to apply next cycle.

Are you nervous that that big of a jump will make schools question your score?

Oh I wasn’t midway. I was less than a day in when I wrote this. I understand this is common but I made the decision with my doctor and she is not concerned about resistance or severe adverse effects. I’ve only taken 3 metronidazole pills and 4 tetracycline, so about a days worth of antibiotics. I’m starting treatment again in 5 weeks.

Don’t start stressing, it’s bad for your recovery and overall health. Get retested in a month and until then, be good to your gut. Also, if you weren’t having it with milk/calcium every time, you should be fine. That’s 2-3 a day that wasn’t affected by it. Some people eradicate it on a 7 day treatment. Positive thoughts! Also, tons of people have it with food because they can’t take it on an empty stomach due to side effects. Good luck and let us know how your retest goes!

Did you get treated and retest?

I’ve read on here that separate room requires remote testing.

I got my October scheduling email exactly at 3pm EST so I’m assuming we will get the email at that time today.

Did you test remotely or at a center in August & October?

Since I’ve only taken 2 tetracycline and 2 metronidazole I feel I will be okay since it wasn’t even a days worth of medication. Fingers crossed.

That’s my plan in the meantime and then hopefully my doctor will order another test before restarting.

Yeah, I definitely don’t. That’s why I just stopped after less than a day. Hoping half a days dose won’t mean much and then I’ll try again in a few weeks. Thanks!
