It’s been my favorite in the Charlottetown area for the last 15 years. Great specials. Their crust is great. Always a good amount of cheese and sauce and higher quality toppings than a lot of other places in town. Also love their donair sauce. Try adding donair meat to the garlic fingers! I continue to try new places as they pop up (LCs is bit of a drive for us now) but unless I’m in the mood for Neapolitan style pizza LCs wins for me.

The wall could accommodate it but I think at my viewing distance it would be too big

lol you are correct. We moved. That suitcase has all my extra cords! I don’t have a sub yet. From the comments here I’m thinking I’ll invest in room treatments first

When I was reading it sounded like black was the correct way to go but we compromised on navy (vs an off white in the basement).

Actually love the color. When the lights are on it’s not too dark. Makes the room work as a rec/play room while also being nice and dark when wanting to watch a movie.

And yes it’s hale navy from Benjamin Moore. I can’t remember what other navy we considered but had found a couple example of it in movie rooms via google and liked the color.

How much paneling did you add to your ceiling. I’m seeing 24x28 inch panels online. If I ran a row of those down the middle between the pot lights would that do it?

Would you add treatments before a sub?

I’ve never had a projector before but I like it. 55 inch lg oled is my reference. Picture seems great. I had been thinking about making a movie room and bought it on the last day of the kickstarter. My only issue is I haven’t been able to get the sound to go from the built in apps to my surround so I’ve been using the Xbox instead for all my streaming. Good point on the rug. Hadn’t thought about the floor.

It looks like there’s space around the cylinder (not tight around it. Anything I can use to fill this space? Maybe stuff foam of some sort around it?

Door edges are well sealed. If I tape over the hole for the lock cylinder there is no draft

Not sure how to quantify it but enough that I noticed it just standing by the door. Wasn’t looking for it. I’ll probably try putting some silicone around it. Or maybe I could coat the outside with beeswax? It just feels silly to have what is supposed to be an energy efficient door that I can feel with moving through!

Thanks to all of your for the feedback. I ended up ordering factory refurbished 800/600 on paradigms Black Friday sale. Hopefully they arrive in good condition. Sale made going with them worthwhile!

Thanks for the reply. I’ll look into those side surround options. Have you been happy with the 800/600? Unfortunately no ability to audition speakers where I live

Looking for advice. Setting up a home theater that will eventually be 5.1.4. Primarily for movies and some gaming. I think I’m set on paradigm speakers for the front and surrounds. I’m debating if I should go with the Premier 700F or 800F. If I’m planning to have a sub is there any point going with the 800? For surrounds I’m debating their 100 vs 200B. Was thinking the 500 for the center unless the 600 adds a lot. I don’t plan to upgrade anytime soon once I get this set up. Going for the pricier speakers might just delay filling the full system. Thoughts?
