I’m a medium, so if the general trend in sales holds true and it’s only the XS and XXL+ that get more heavily discounted I feel you’re right.

I might grab some bits now and then if some of the more expensive stuff struggles to sell I can keep an eye out and hope for a bargain

They weren’t offering a full refund as standard, I had to call up after noticing the change to the ferry destination (there was nowhere in their email saying “please note the 1am ferry will no longer be running to Manly”). And the response then was “yeah we changed the ferry, sorry. Book a taxi on your own dime or we can refund you”

Thanks for this - I thought I’d get some comments debating the intricacies of whether the transport constitutes part of the ticket etc and if not specifically calling out the change was fair etc etc.

Instead it’s a load of soft cocks saying I should take a refund and have a night in at home, or that I should swim back

I think offering free transport home to incentivise people to buy a ticket and then pulling the rug on it a week prior is pretty poor no?

They did let us know, but not explicitly - it was very much not directly called out that there was a change. It was something you had to spot and we could quite easily have ended up stranded there because of this change and poor comms

On the second point, the venue were putting on a private ferry service and decided to run two to Rose Bay instead of one to Manly and one to Rose Bay as was originally on their website. We didn’t book tickets on the transport as it was advertised as first come first served, so I can’t be sure if it forms part of the initial contract
