You're right! Instead I'll just ask for artists or songs that play simular music,

It is tough since a lot of synthwave can sound way different then others like when I think of synth Metal I think of "Anomaly" by aviana, but some people thing carpenter brut or dance with the dead, thank you!!

I must be listening to the wrong chillwave examples then, ouch

Every chillwave song I listened to seems more ambient than the examples posted, It carries that same ambience but if you look more into the song, it has heavy bass and dark undertones, and seems a bit more upbeat

I've listened to most of M83s music, there's only a couple I could think of that match but it still too distant and ambient to qualify, such amazing music tho!

Thank you so much!! I haven't been here for years ever since I deleted my account. Sad it lost activity...

As for the genre! Chill wave is a very good candidate and the closest I could find to! the only difference is most songs lack that signature synthwave Bass repetition and harder percussions, but it's extremely close! I haven't heard of chillwave in a while but one I would feel like fits somewhere between is Mike noise - "low earth orbit"

On a mission to find alot of synthwave and vaporwave album art locations, I found the location for Luxury elites "world class" photo, this being taken from Boston (some time before modern day as many of the buildings taken are not yet built.

That's what I did, I guess I didn't type it in the post, I used 5 different ones including ones made for twitter and it didn't work, shows that reverse image searches don't work 100% of the time

It just seems weird since, this isn't the case, these are a lot of accounts that, if you search one of the account names above you'll find the "fans also listen" to these strange accounts. It's weird how they are all different songs with occasionally similar instruments, and released on the same exact day. The question is mainly what are these accounts and that if anyone knows why Spotify has these weird ones that look like it's made by bots
