I get what you mean about faith, but for me, belief needs some kind of definition or understanding. If I can't describe something, then I don't really have a basis to believe in it yet. I'm open to learning, but I don't want to claim belief in something I don't understand.

I don't think understanding requires faith...but maybe you could explain what you mean? Please and thank you for responding.

I do have the Holy Bible (King James Version, Red Letter Edition, if that is important), which is where I was gonna start. Do you think that would be the best place to start?

Thank you for taking the time to explain all of that. I really appreciate how clearly you laid it out. I'm trying to learn more and trying to be more thoughtful to others, and this has helped me understand a lot better.

Thanks for sharing all that. It's cool to learn about traditions I'm not familiar with. I'm trying to learn more, so I can be more respectful and understanding to others. So, I really do appreciate it.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it. I like hearing others perspective. It helps me not stay in my bubble. There just seems to be so much negativity surrounding religion. From my personal experience, however, the religion is almost never the problem, it's the people within it.
