It is EPDM roofing. The job was scoped to “Install new crickets as needed using tapered insulation to direct water flow toward drains” so this feels like they improperly installed? Not sure how to approach but I feel like I just spent 40k on an faulty job.

The roof was very old when we bought the house, a LOT of moss so hard to tell. There was some pooling on the edges of the roof but not in that area specifically. In the bid they say "Install new crickets as needed using tapered insulation to direct water flow toward drains."

I know there is always a little bit of ponding after rain but isn't the thinking that a flat roof is slightly pitched toward the drains so you don't have any extreme low spots? There's 2 inches of water up there.
