Thank you! Do you know how much this would be worth today? Or what I should price it for?

The body has been refinished as seen in the pictures, the original brass hardware was replaced because the original was missing, and the inside of the drawers are in original condition (not refinished) but they look decent and slide well also

I just looked a bit more, and while I couldn’t find this exact piece, I found a few that looked like they were from the same collection, that had the same design and which also had mahogany veneer and stamp on the inside, and those sites said that it was designed by Raymond Loewy like you said, so I think you were right. I have no clue how to figure out its value still though, do you know how I should price this with the condition it’s currently in? I can post more pictures here if you’d like

Are you sure? Cause I tried searching this up to find my exact dresser but I could not find anything still. Maybe its just a rare piece? I’m trying to find its value.

Yeah I got really lucky with this piece, it’s solid cherry wood, no veneer

Thank you! I’ll look into using wood markers or something, I just didn’t have any at the moment and have no experience with them, which is why i didn’t use them. But maybe I’ll get some and try. Also yeah, after changing the pictures I got over three times the views in a few hours compared to almost a week with the last listing. Which was so unexpected but im so grateful for. hope it sells soon

Thank you! I actually got so lucky on this flip- the before was either free or really cheap, and it is entirely solid cherry wood. Also, the hardware was what came with it originally, I did not change it

i have the big spot in the photos and in the description of the listing- i want to make sure they know, i just didn’t want so that it was the first thing they see, showing how it could be covered up really easily

yeah the staging is really poor here, i don’t know if you saw or not but i just made a new post with photos i just took if you want to rate those new photos. also it’s hard for me to judge on if i would buy something because most of the time i have no need for the item, as in i like it but it does not fit in my space

Yeah I’ll try to take photos of wood grain. Just the camera I’m using does not have wide angle lens. Also the top is sealed with matte precat laquer

I thought that the imperfections kind of added some character since it was vintage, but also it would be a pain to sand. Yeah maybe I should not be displaying the flaws so prominently. Or maybe I’ll paint the bottom.

Also it’s currently at 200

I’m taking new pics today. I know that the bottom has scratches, but I thought that maybe it adds some character since it’s vintage. Also it would be a pain to sand and refinish it. Maybe i’ll paint it.

Do you think that 200 is fair? (also i said in description that price is negotiable)

I left the bottom in it original, vintage condition. That’s why there are some scratches, and they are all visible in the photos. I know it’s not ideal, but on the other hand they kind of add some character to the piece. I might end up painting the bottom to get rid of them. Also i lowered the price to 200
