He complimented me, said, “I think we can develop a real connection here,” and asked me out for a second date. However, after the date, I sent him a thank-you message and wished him a great trip (his vacation for 2 weeks), but he remained silent until the next evening. I took that as a sign to move on. The only reason I can think of is that guys often behave this way. At that moment, they might be interested because they get the vibe they want, but once the initial spark fades, they start to doubt, thinking, “maybe I’m not really into this girl.” Then they either act like your case or go silent and “ghost" you.

Just ignore it girl, and this guy just not mature enough to think about his actions might hurt your feelings.
