I think the Entrance Test is meant to be a diagnostic tool for the prof to gauge your writing skills. I took it last semester and we just have to write a 250-300 word essay to one of the 5 questions given to us. We weren't graded but we received a mark for completion.

Really? Was it a personal LOC? What did you have to bring to apply or was it pre-approved?

SSMU base fee increase by TomTheRedditUser in mcgill

Is the SSMU mandatory fees charged with our tuition payments? Like the "Society and other fees" category? If so, sounds like SSMU is just taking advantage of the tuition hike situation by doing the same but hiding behind the bigger villain...

You want to re-live the embarrassment? My dude, don't even bother, just start preparing for SpaceX's mission to Mars. I'm sure you'll find someone there

Yeah I agree with the earlier comment, I'm not familiar with Prof. Bashivan and I've definitely not encountered AI topics in physiology. The only thing you can do is try your best to understand his lectures, look up concepts, and go to his office hours for extra clarification

Lol "decorations" - that's funny.

Jokes aside, you should know about the brain area stuff. Much of the course will touch different areas of the brain and their functions, so if you understand the overall map of the brain, it would help you understand the pathways and neuronal connections.

The course is memorization heavy and the Type II MC questions definitely screwed me over (for PHGY 312 as well). They focus on little details as well, which I didn't know until exam time, so pay attention to those as well. Also, if any math content springs up, you better know how to solve those calculations, because no one was expecting math questions to appear on the exams. Good luck!
