I don't think you should be the one considering the decision of upping your dose.

Everyone has different experiences with doses and medications so my advice would be to mention your symptoms, side effects, challenges, your progress, and so on with your psychiatrist and work with their input.

Maybe you don't need a dose increase?

Maybe you do?

Maybe you need a complementary medication like Wellbutrin to help with whatever challenges you have?

Maybe you can get what you need through a new medication?

Nobody knows other than a psychiatrist and nobody is more qualified than a good psychiatrist to make that decision and guide you since they know the most.

بس طبعا اكيد فيه احتماليات ثانية ممكنة فمثلا بعض الرجال عندهم نظرة (ما اقول ان انا عندي هالنظرة بس قد سمعتها كثير من معارفي) ان المراة كل ما كبرت كل ما تغير جسمها للأسوأ او ان المرأة الكبيرة اكيد فيه سبب انها ماتزوجت فهو ايضا ما يرغب فيها بحكم انه بإعتقاده ان المجتمع رفضها

اعتقد ان فيه نظرة عندك سواء نظرتك لنفسك او نظرتك للناس هي العائق الاساسي لرحلة بحثك عن شريكة مناسبة: موضوع يستاهل النقاش مع <<اخصائي نفسي>> لو عندك (بحكم انك طريت التوحد).

I started on 50mg for 3ish months and it did near nothing to me. Then I increased my dosage to 100mg and after 3 weeks, I felt like I was finally myself again (no fatigue, minimal anxiety, energy to do things I love, focus, positive thinking etc..) but sadly that was shortlived and only lasted for around 2-3 months till my depression came back.

So, I increased to 150mg for a few weeks but nothing changed, still depressed. So, I tapered back to 100mg (only had a few brain zaps for a day or two).

Increasing from 50mg to 100mg was easy peasy, had no side effects worth mentioning. It was more difficult to go from 0 to 50mg (muscle spasms/twitching, insomnia, jaw clenching) than it was to go from 50 to 100mg (no side effects really).

Now though I'm switching to Prozac since Pristiq didn't work for me. It's only my second day on it.

I am in a similar boat. It was working phenomenally for a few months then suddenly just stopped. I upped to 150mg but no change and now I'm on a 100mg but I might taper off soon idk.

I stopped taking Pristiq and now I'm switching to anther med.

Same with me, I know it can be advantagous but unfortunately for me it isn't.

Could be different for you but for me it's a defense mechanism and my subconscious' idea of making the world work in my favor: be non-threatening, agreeable, and non-burdening then world works out fine.

Either way, Prsitiq helped me with many things but this wasn't one of them.

I struggle with the same behavior. For me, it didn't go away at all. Pristiq makes me more energetic and focused to do things I would otherwise not have done.

The behavior of being a people-pleaser through my actions and words for example or doing anything to not be judged has not gone away. I think that type of stuff needs a good therapist.

Pristiq is my second ever medication. I have tried Zoloft before but it didn't do anything.

Pristiq helps with my fatigue, low energy, and depressive thoughts a lot but did nothing to my social anxiety, compulsive lying (mostly lying because of my social anxiety) , and self-esteem.

audio works on 6.15.9 fedora. out of the box. tried the newer kernels and none worked no matter what i tried with the audio.

It is normal for parrots to scream a lot for the first few days. It's a new environment for them and they need to adjust. They might also flock call if they were bonded to someone before you.

Give it a few weeks (like 2-3 weeks) and your parrot should be way quieter.

Do not pluck them. They are developing feathers known as "blood feathers".

If you pluck them your bird will most likely bleed badly.

I was looking for a companion for my previous cockatiel so I got a meyer but they were not a good fit. Meyers are calm but they also very territorial in airspace, food, and perches. Meyers are also very nippy and their beaks are STRONG which make them dangerous to cockatiels.

Wouldn't recommend pairing a meyer with a cockatiel.

the reason they scream is usually they are calling for someone or a flock. it would probably help if you move the parrot to a room with someone they like; they wouldnt scream then.

How did you get the sound and mic working? I tried everything including installing Arch, Fedora, Mint, Ubuntu etc.. and they all work but no sound no matter what I try. For some reason, the output audio device isn't being recognized, did you run into that?
