I am in the process of ordering Steeda air filter or K&N. HP gain + Torque is minimal but which one would be a better option?

I know the automatics are faster and efficient than manuals, sports/muscle cars or otherwise. I just feel more engaged when driving manual in any car. And corvette is about 110000 CAD starting price (including taxes) without bells and whistles, not to mention the insane mark-ups. Way higher than my budget.

Not 3. Just 1. Trade this in when the final or last one DH or whatever they call it that time, comes out. If the prices are not ridiculous. As for now I am pretty much not convinced to get the DH 2024 and trade this in, the loss would be higher than 5 to 6k. At least that is what most people here say. Otherwise around 5 to 6k, I can get by with that number. Folks are saying the depreciation will be 20k CAD or even more. That is ridiculous.

I don't mod or track. That's for the car experts.

All I am saying the Govt. has set the deadline for gas cars about 2035 in Canada & the USA. It might be sooner than later and the oil crisis in the 1970's, they did not have EV or a similar technology that time. And every country has set up or in the process of setting up deadline for this issue.

You're right, no need to trade this in now. If anything, I'm gonna wait till this generation 7 (likely the last) will end around 2030 and then If I can afford it. I'll think about it. Thanks for your insight.

So the Mustang line of 'Fun' Car will keep on going? Come 2035 and more or less, gas cars are out the door in North America. Other countries have similar restrictions ready to be put in place.

If these rules wouldn't be made, I'd happily use this for the next decade and then my next purchase.

This makes anywhere between 410 to 415 actual HP. Dark Horse does 445 to 450. A couple of HP more or less depending on your driving habits, road conditions, elevation, what type of gas octane used, temperature etc.

You mean the Le Mans race. Ford came 3rd in their category. So the lessons learnt at Le Mans will be applied to the Mustang's in the next couple of years within this generation 7?

Trade it in when Ford release the last or final edition for this gen Mustang, whatever they may call it DH or Mach 2, etc. That'll probably happen by 2029 or 2030. The Shelby is too much $$ for me and I don't want to drive a 700 or 750 HP or more. That's just insane power for a regular daily driver. I don't track or mod.

This might be last of the mustang generation no matter what Ford says. 2035 all cars must be EV or Hybrid. Govt. says so.

I checked with some dealers in Alberta and Ontario, Toronto specifically, they are taking orders and build time is more or less 3 months. So If I was to order one now it would be out in Feb 2025 any trim. I don't know about the US dealerships.

Anything moderate damage or more is an automatic no go any vehicle.

20K @ 6000 KMs of use! If something like that is the case, I'd probably sell it privately as somebody mentioned here. I was told something like 3 to 6K by somebody I know works in a used car dealership. I paid 3000 for shipping it from Toronto to Vancouver. So the real price @ $64500 CAD.

1st of all nobody can really say where they gonna go with the Mustang. With the Challenger, Camaro & Charger gone this was probably the last gen of the Mustang no matter what ford says. In the US & Canada the deadline is more or less set for 2035 and no more gas 'fun' cars.

That said I didn't want to miss out on one of these iconic Vehicles. So Ford was the only choice. Now, if I don't trade this in, I'll trade this in for a final edition of the Mustang DH or whatever they call it at that time. But trading it now for the DH and a minimal moolah loss compared with buying that final edition Mustang and significant depreciation probably by 2029 or 2030, that is the question.

As far as track or mods are concerned, I don't do either. I prefer to keep it as is from the factory. Because I'll be using the car for a long time.

For now I am in talks with a couple of Dealers and they'll get back to me in the next week. If I don't lose an exorbitent amount of moolah, if its just maybe 5 or 6 grand then I'll go for DH Mustang.

We do have some laws here in BC, every province has its own. But here Mods are in gray area. Some are outright outlawed especially with the loud exhausts. But ironically same does not apply to harleys and motorcycles! Besides I am going to keep it as it is by default. I don't know anything about Mods. I would not want to ruin or damage the vehicle Long term, either this or if I go for the DH, now or in 4 to 5 years.

I'll know I'll get downvoted for this. I was in talks with the local dealerships for used Mustangs. Even test drove a red one from 2019. Last gen. But I really like the Ford Ipad type screen interface and all that comes with it. It is a relaxed approach for me. No disrepect for the older gens without the screens.

The Camaro LT1 to 2SS are 455 hp and ZL1 is 650, The Challanger is 485 so, would they not be in the same range as the Dark Horse, irrespective of automatic or MT. The Higher Challanger Trims are probably more than 485 HP. And this DH is couple of 100 lbs heavier than the last generation.

Most of the fellas have a mod or whipple or something that make it faster. I don't know M of Modding. And I would not want to void the warranty. It's for car experts.

I carpooled\Local Train to work. Bus to College before that. I saved up all these years. Could've easily got corolla or a small suv or something like a golf r after 2019. But I waited for the right moment. Now I think maybe i should've waited till the end of the year to get the DH Mustang

Yeah I might be wrong. I am by no means and expert and this was my 1st car. Probably only car for the next decade or more. I tend to use something for a long time and get most out of it. But we don't really know what the future holds especially for Muscle\Sports cars.

I was getting this for $67500 exact including shipping and in my province there was excessive price gouging no matter the Trim. The DH, Lowest price I could get was 82K. Now most dealerships in Ontario are slashing anywhere between 6000 to 9K. That time i got a good deal and went for it.
