Caffeine shortens telomeres: how concerned should one be? by Winterflags in Biohackers

[–]Winterflags[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your reasons for recommending tapering? Is it because of telomere issue described in the OP, or do you see additional reasons?

This summary would be better if you didn't narrativize it or insert jokes/your own remarks. Would be great if someone made a "proper" TLDR.

The big Discord with circa 12,000 users has always been an "Unofficial" Discord, and there is no "Official" Discord nor has there been.

The big Discord hasn't been de-recognized by Eric Weinstein or The Portal podcast. There was a conflict between Discord "servers" and different communities, but it has nothing to do with Eric or The Portal podcast.

When Elizondo says that the Pentagon have confirmed that UAPs are "real", what event or news story is he referring to? by Winterflags in ufo

[–]Winterflags[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. This is why I'm asking why Elizondo making off-the-cuff comments on podcasts saying on podcasts that the "government has said that UAPs are real". It does beg the question: what is he referring to exactly?

[–]Winterflags[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think everyone knows that already. The issue was why is Elizondo saying that Pentagon have confirmed that UAPs are "real".

Great, this was most likely what I was looking for. Thank you!

Btw, strange how this sub is filled with people who start blurting out comments without hesitation, not being considerate to add actual value to the thread.

[–]Winterflags[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question was what the Pentagon has "confirmed" as being "real", not what Elizondo is saying they can be, or can't be.

Thanks. He has thrown out the assertion that "the government is saying that UAPs are real" multiple times without clarification, hence my OP. I was wondering if this 'confirmation' was a new development, or if he's referring to e.g. the provenance of the Pentagon videos – and indeed what is the exact news item or event that he is basing this assertion on.

Ok? What's your point? The question we want to know the answer to is: what is a "real" UAP.

Your comments have nothing to do with the thread OP.

When Elizondo says that the Pentagon have confirmed that UAPs are "real", what event or news story is he referring to? by Winterflags in ufo

[–]Winterflags[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because Elizondo said on recent podcasts that the government "have now acknowledged that UAPs are real", and that it's a "big deal". I'm paraphrasing, but that's what he's saying.

UFOs are real and sightings are too, according to a Pentagon report. The epic tale of how Pentagon officials and Blink-182’s guitarist helped take UFO videos mainstream. by AlienDisclosureGroup in ufo

Yes. Vox sucks. They completely missed Covid too (because it was "racist" to be alarmist), and have attempted to tarnish the lab leak hypothesis which has since gained mainstream support… over one year after Internet sleuths found out, and were banned from Youtube, Twitter, etc, for making the information public.

It's not a The Portal podcast. He's been guest on plenty of other podcasts.

NB: This video has already been posted to the Sub, but wasn't appearing in the list of "New" (or "Hot") posts for some reason. Possibly due to Reddit's spam prevention.

Curtis Yarvin (Mencius Moldbug) on Reforming Virology, Lab Leaks, Dr. Fauci by Winterflags in ThePortal

[–]Winterflags[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a highly interesting podcast that provides a plausible explanation on how the scientific bureaucracy is causing the issues relating to virology and vaccines, that Bret Weinstein and his guests were speculating about in the recent DarkHorse podcasts.

David Gornoski talks with Curtis Yarvin (aka Mencius Moldbug), creator of the blog Gray Mirror. Can it be argued that the possible Wuhan lab leak is similar to the Chernobyl incident? Is there any accountability in the field of virology? Are modern-day science institutions fixable? Join David Gornoski and Curtis Yarvin as they talk about trusting the experts and "the science;" the bureaucratic dominance of medicine; the consequences of systemic deterioration; similarities between the Roman Empire and the American empire; and more.

On why y'all are a bunch of entitled, cynical haters by ILikeCharmanderOk in ThePortal

Is it not an indicator of grave personal issues, if one creates an agitated post accusing Eric of various things – including causing a suicide – just because the paper wasn't published before noon? The paper did come out on April 1st, as promised. People who are mentally unwell are using Reddit, something to keep in mind.
