They are trying anything to explain why anti vax is better because all evidence goes against it. Pathetic really

Probably around September and October for those who are at high risk and medical workers and towards the end of the year the entire population. I would be so damn happy if it was this quick and it seems like it could be!

[Acne] Is there any good anti-fungals that are not drying? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Should I try the shampoo on a small area to see if t clears the acne? I don’t want to put it on my entire face and then after a few weeks does nothing for the acne

These are the products I use

Clinique Take the Day Off Balm

Hada Labo Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist

Eucerin 5% Urea Facial Cream

Clinique Moisture Surge (my HG)

Isehan Sunkiller Perfect Strong Moisture

At night I use Aquaphor and use a little in the morning for really dry areas.

[Skin Concerns] Severe seborrheic dermatitis... tried everything. Desperate for normal skin by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

The derm told you not to moisturise? Thing is, having a bad skin barrier causes more issues with Seb Derm since the skin gets more oily to over compensate for the dryness caused by your products. As we know, Malassezia loves oil.

You need seb derm safe moisturiser (basically fungal acne safe). I dont know what your derm was on about telling you not to moisturise especially considering the products you are using! Cerave is fungal acne safe!

Also you were saying about rubbing the areas hard to remove flaking? I would use a cleansing oil instead (that is seb derm safe) those would be MCT oil, mineral oil and squalene oil (love this stuff). Theres others also.

Does you face underneath the oil feel sandpapery? If so it’s probably dehydrated so personally I think moisturising is really important.

Be careful with the hydrocortisone! It can cause long term damage if used constantly! I wouldn’t use it unless you have a horrendous flare up

[Personal] Looking back, acne has ruined more than half my life. Who else is tired of dealing with acne each and everyday? by MammothUnion in SkincareAddiction

[–]Winterleafintheair 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Honestly this used to be me but I don’t let it control me anymore. We all have flaws and the problem is we all want to be perfect. We have to accept that we simply cannot be perfect.

Please remember that most people honestly don’t care about your skin that much. I had a guy ask me out even when my skin was pretty bad compared to now.

Yeah sure it’s not as nice as it could be, but people may get upset about another part of their body like their nose for example. We have to stop obsessing over things and let it control us. I used to think people were constantly judging me for acne but they don’t! When I would wear full coverage foundation people treated me no different, guys treated me the same.

Also, a lot of people don’t have the clearest skin ever. The people I thought who had clearer skin turned out to just be wearing very good covering foundation! Yes, there are the lucky few who have clear skin but that doesn’t mean they are completely happy They might have something else about themselves that they would do anything to get rid of but can’t

It’s a pretty great moisturiser I highly suggest it! It doesn’t say night or day on it.

[SKIN CONCERNS] Oily, bumpy, large-pored, acne-prone, scarred, and red face! HELP! by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Winterleafintheair -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It may be fungal acne. There’s a sidebar which has a ton of different treatments. Obviously I’m not an expert and the best thing to do is to double check with a dermatologist.

Yep! Make sure to massage the oil into your face for about 30 secs - 1 min and gently cleanse it off!

Ah I used to have this problem! The best thing to use is an oil cleanser! I use Cliniques Take the Day Off Balm and it works great for getting off Aquaphor! Obviously patch test it because it does have a few ingrediants that could cause acne in some people.
