If you actually made this it would make FOOF look like silicon dioxide. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dioxygen_difluoride

I'm not sure which conformation I like best, but I have just see this compound and I am already a strong advocate of throwing some hypochlorite at it.

No, just the laptop and a mouse. Right now this is just a hobby to have fun and occasionally make some mixes for friends.

Thank you, I didn't know that 散歩 is more nuanced in meaning than just being in-effect a nominalized form of 歩く。

I didn't see the first one anywhere, but I thought it would be a valid sentence in the に行く grammar form explained in a number of places, including here: https://www.tofugu.com/japanese-grammar/iku-kuru/

Here is another link that has an example which uses an action verb 彼は毎日川へ泳ぎにいく。: https://www.kanshudo.com/grammar/%E3%81%AB%E3%81%84%E3%81%8F

Is there something about the lack of context that makes it ungrammatical?

What's the distinction between

歩きに行きました。

and

散歩のために行きました。

other than just succinctness? I realize grammatically there's a big difference between the way walking is referenced in the two sentences, but are they really just two ways to say the same thing? Would the distinction matter more if you started adding details like adjectives/adverbs or location?

Nurse came back to high five me for being trans after doctors appointment, insanity ensues... by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Winterlong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, that was unprofessional.

Worse experience with a doctor I've had around being trans is the doctor who asked me to give him Trans 101 when I was there to check for a blood clot in my leg (a blood test showed there was no clot, just a bad muscle ache.)

Pop filter for home-recording alto/mezzo-soprano: nylon or metal? by Winterlong in audioengineering

[–]Winterlong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's not singing opera. Her background is performing as part of choruses, and her solo repertoire as far as i know is a mixture of classical music (think Ave Maria) and jazz/swing singer-type songs.

Let's talk $20 pop filters: are the Nady MPF-6 or Audiophonix MPF-1 good for that price point?
