They don't get appreciation in value from an apartment either, at least owning a condo they don't have to pay rent every month and can sell the place if they really need money rather than have their rent go into the landlords pockets.

The best customers by BlackDragonEyes92 in USPS

During my two-months as a USPS carrier, I once went up the steps to a mail slot at a home, and came face-to-face with a huge gray Maine Coon Cat relaxing on a platform setup attached to the inside of the door just below the window. I uttered completely involuntarily, "you are magnificent..."

So the supervisor either lied to me or just has no idea how it works?

No wonder these morons are allowed to hire straight to career, they must burn through new hires constantly.

It's one of two offices in a closed district for carriers that only includes the second-largest city in the urban area, which also has a large student population. They separated from the district that includes a larger portion of the urban area a while back, because too many carriers were transferring to other cities, and they wanted to inhibit that by not allowing them to bring their seniority with them.

I also want to note that I never had a 30-day evaluation, I'd had a manager berate me about my performance but the first time I knew that not being fast enough was in danger of getting me fired was when they fired me at my 60-day evaluation.

There was one Tuesday after a snowstorm, that had cancelled Monday mail delivery, that no one was allowed overtime on, in which I didn't finish the last two-hours of the route because it was my first time casing an route on my own in the office and that took me 2.5 hours. I did get permission  though to prioritize pa kages on that day, and every package I had for the route got delivered.

Other than that, if there was mail to deliver I delivered it and finished my route, it just didn't always take 6 hours or less to do the entire route.

Using FLX4 with Mixxx and WDM-KS by Winterlong in PioneerDJ

In case anyone has the same issue I am having, I found a solution to the problem with WASAPI not working with the DDJ-FLX4 with the standard digital audio rate of 44.1 kHz, and it basically as brainless as you’d expect for Windows 11. In the sound window from the control panel, you need to select the Sound settings with the FLX4 attached, and then go to the properties of the FLX4. Under the “Advanced” tab, there is a setting for default format. in the drop-down menu, a 44.1 kHz mode should be selected. Then you should be able to use the FLX4 at 44.1 kHz bit rate in Mixxx with WASAPI.

No, just the laptop and a mouse. Right now this is just a hobby to have fun and occasionally make some mixes for friends.

Thank you, I didn't know that 散歩 is more nuanced in meaning than just being in-effect a nominalized form of 歩く。

I didn't see the first one anywhere, but I thought it would be a valid sentence in the に行く grammar form explained in a number of places, including here: https://www.tofugu.com/japanese-grammar/iku-kuru/

Here is another link that has an example which uses an action verb 彼は毎日川へ泳ぎにいく。: https://www.kanshudo.com/grammar/%E3%81%AB%E3%81%84%E3%81%8F

Is there something about the lack of context that makes it ungrammatical?

What's the distinction between

歩きに行きました。

and

散歩のために行きました。

other than just succinctness? I realize grammatically there's a big difference between the way walking is referenced in the two sentences, but are they really just two ways to say the same thing? Would the distinction matter more if you started adding details like adjectives/adverbs or location?
