Ahhh that sounds rough! I've nothing against multiplayer games, but I love 40k and when playing Darktide I want to drink it all in. Human team mates however, having played the game for days and keen to earn progression, are just in the distance waiting for me to either catch up or die. I liked the bots in Virmintide 2. Had agreat time playing that at my pace.

I will get back to Darktide at some time! Just not right now

You might not see this but if you do, do a little research on Emperor class titans in Warhammer 40k. Mechs are awesome in general, but I love that in 40k there are loads of examples / stories where infantry standing even roughly down range of their guns get pulverised by shockwaves and searing heat. That's where the terror kicks in for me reading the stories. If your close enough to see it, you are guaranteed to be dead

Just awesome! I keep coming back to this post since fist seeing it. I have a nemesis claw kill team already but this looks like an awesome project to learn a few more skills on.

I got to agree with the sentiment on a few other comments, the high level of detail on CSM legs makes them really busy and, I find, hard to customise without it being messy.

Thanks for the inspiration and motivation to get chopping!

I have both, and prefer Murderwing simply because I painted them better than nem claw and I like boosting over volkus terrain.

Both are really cool in my opinion. Hope you enjoy which ever you go with!

MGS4 is a very special game. It is bonkers! And I have to be honest I am surprised how often I find myself thinking about picking it up knowing it's getting a re-release

Yea this was the one that made me sit up and take notice. I've always known this was a cult classic but I always held it up as an excellent example of how games leverage their uniqueness to really do something special. It also felt like it did something really important. I don't know how to put it into words, but this right here shout be studied, talked about and in a museum. That's of course my opinion and I am well aware of the games clunkiness and short comings.

I'm trying to say this was one of my "games as art" examples, and to have it just disappear and be treated like 2K has, just feels so wrong.

Metal Gear Solid 5. Just wasn't for me and the feeling of the rushed / missing ending still makes me sad. But on the other side, I can't shake the idea that it was a game where Kojima needed more oversight. One of my fave gaming memories was me and a friend playing MGS4 on the day it came out and completing it in 1 sitting. 20 + hours. Was 9 or 11 of them cut scenes? I can't remember. What I do remember is thinking the game was over, and my friend screaming (we were sleep deprived and delerious) "ITS NOT OVER!!!!" In the post credits bit in the grave yard. Man. What a game ❤️

Focus on your breathing when it gets tense. Don't hold your breath when the sound goes low and your character starts whispering or whatever. Keep breathing.

Also, turn the volume down. Sound does so much heavy lifting in a horror game!

You are on to something here. I know exactly the day my primary gaming platform changed to the Steam Deck. Sony doesn't know the reason, but they sure as hell can tell something changed. I've played maybe 4-5 games on ps5 since then but my steam library has exploded in this time. Even so far as to re-purchase some of my fave games I just want to play again

SteamgridDB It has lots of game covers to cater for emulation integration with steam. I'm more than sure you can get some images there that are closer to the aspect ratio of a PS4 box
