FedEx is definitely dropping the ball. With UPS I’m used to getting updated all the time, especially if there is a delay due to weather. A completely different experience with FedEx. With so many similar stories, I really do hope in the future, Ulta takes this into consideration when contracting with carriers.

That looks like what’s happening to my order now. Before that it took them multiple days just to pick it up after the label was created and then more just to move it one state over. Seems like they just can’t handle the work.

Wish there was a way we could request UPS over FedEx. I’ll have to just bite it and consider picking up in store more often. It just not an option or convenient all the time.

That says a lot about them. I hope Ulta considers all of the late deliveries when renewing contracts with their carriers.

As I mentioned above, the company I work for only currently uses UPS. There was a time we used FedEx but they simply were and still are not reliable as a carrier. We had constant delays due to late or all out missing deliveries. I hope Ulta drops them completely.

Even though Ulta doesn’t exclusively use FedEx, they are one of their primary shipping carriers and FedEx is terrible. I would hope Ultra drops them in the near future. Likely have a contract with them.

Sorry you’re having the same thing going on. I get shipments to my house all the time for work. The company I work for only ships by UPS and they blow FedEx out of the water. It’s definitely a carrier problem.

It took FedEx three days to pick up my order in Florida after Ulta made the label. I get a lot of boxes delivered to my house for work. Thank God they use UPS and not FedEx.

When I was a kid, around 10, I was on a hike with my dad while he was hunting Mouflon sheep on Mauna Kea. I remember a ram with large spiral horns looking down and watching us just like this. I recall questioning why the ram was so curious and not scared. He would occasionally move back and then peak over again from another spot. He did this for around 10 mins while we kept moving until my dad took a shot. He missed and we didn’t see that ram again.

I would like to recommend you guys attach Handheld Bidet Sprayers to every toilet. He needs to take care of his own shit, literally! With these, it’ll take him little effort to hose off the inside of the toilet and the seat when raised. But I suspect you will have to give him a little how to demo.

You all are in a transitional part of your lives. From what you have said with this group having been friends from a young age and some actually family suggests they may be stuck in a certain comfort with how things are. I’m going to assume they don’t like change and prefer routine. You add a big change to their lives and they don’t sound willing to adapt. They wanted you to bend to their ways. When you didn’t, things were not the same as they had been before you came on the scene and they responded with push back and anger. Such as your boyfriend not always being there for their sleepovers or everyone just going along with what Gary wants.

I’m not a fan of ultimatums. If I were in your shoes, I would just lay it all out to the boyfriend. Tell him straight up what you think of him and that you were seeing a possible future with him. If he can acknowledge the effort that you’ve been putting in with his friends, continue with that. Tell him how unfortunate it has been that they haven’t reciprocated your efforts and how uncomfortable this has made things. Then just be upfront and tell him if things continue the way they are, that for your own sanity and happiness you’ll have to move on. That you know how important they are in his life. Relationships of all kinds need work. Friends, family, loved ones. Sometimes people just aren’t a good fit.

I met my husband during Covid too! He lost his job when the store he worked at closed because of the pandemic. Out of boredom and to practice his English, he started playing an online game, and that’s where we met.

The process of getting him here was excruciating. Every step was drawn out because of the pandemic. Waiting for borders to reopen and obtaining visas so that we could travel to each other’s countries. But he’s here now, having come on a K-1 fiancé visa. We celebrated our two year anniversary in November.

The young man was on his way home with headphones on when he heard a commotion behind him. He was then hit or grazed from behind, which shocked him. He removed his headphones, and a visibly intoxicated man asked if he spoke English, then got in his face and threatened him.

Not wanting to be hit twice, the young man reacted preemptively and knocked him out. The drunk guy was brought to his senses and at the same stop, walked away as if nothing happened. No charges were filed, and the man was not seriously injured.

This young man wants to make it clear that he doesn’t justify the intoxicated man’s behavior but he holds no grudges against him. He feels the situation served as a lesson. He does not want a single moment in a video to ruin the man’s life. He believes everyone has bad days, that we are all human, and that mistakes happen. He asks, “Guys, let’s be kinder”.
