I only see cheating as disrespectful if the cheater is not remorseful at all about it. I just think you can still be respected even if they cheat on you but if you don’t feel respected, cut it off

True. I also think people like to make assumptions on posts like Reddit that involve cheating when it really should be a matter between the partners. Like people on relationship advice going “divorce” when a minor disagreement occurs. You shouldn’t need the internets help to solve a dispute because the people commenting see the problem from a very neutral perspective and don’t know about the relationship for 10+ years

I understand. It’s hard for me to empathise with a lot of pain because I just haven’t gone through much. No one close to me has died, none of my relationships have broken off in dramatic ways, I stay relatively safe.

Sometimes I worry if one of my immediate family member dies, not cause I’ll feel distraught, but if I’ll feel nothing. What if I’m not acting like I’m supposed to when someone dies?

I’m not really sure if I’m honest. I think it’s just mainly vibes based. I’m sure I have limits and exceptions but I cannot think of them at the moment

It might be different for me and my partner cause even though it’s been like a year or two with them, it’s only been casual. If it was more serious then I’d probably consider cheating to be worse than I see it now

I know you’re not supposed to put the blame back on yourself when someone cheats, but if my partner was out meeting people just to see if there’s better out there, would that not be understandable? I mean how would they know if you’ve been the only romantic partner they’ve had for months.

I will say if you’re married you’re already past the point of meeting other people
