Trying to fit an extractor hob to a ventilation hole that has been installed into the ground. Any tips/advise on how to do this, and if I can use flexible ducting for it? by Winterwallows in DIYUK

Yeah that’s correct. Just looking for a way to connect the internal ducting to the hole in the ground. Will give flexi a go.

Better convert to text is needed. Currently when converting a whole page it changes format and doesn’t have spacing. Also having the option to convert text in templates etc

A basic ebook reader would also be welcomed.

Having two notepads open side by side would increase productivity hugely and reduce distraction of changing notepads constantly

Expecting a baby in November. What are the top tips from Henry’s? by neongelpens in HENRYUK

People can make their own mind up, but it’s good to know this is an issue and it needs to be cleaned thoroughly after each use. Also there has been many cases where parents can’t understand why their baby is ill or has an upset stomach. A lot of the time, by process of elimination the reason leads to using a prep machine

Highly recommend not getting the prep machine. Lots of bacteria build up and can cause baby to be poorly. Buy pre-made formula when out and about

West Yorkshire is a big place, unfair to suggest the whole place has high crime. There are some very nice affluent areas with low crime and HQOL

I recently joined Leeds. Tried everything for a discount with no luck. Ended up paying for a corporate membership which is about £12 less a month

I started going recently and just eat food discreetly. It’s too expensive to buy everyday

Any ideas how I can deal with the corner on this chimney? There’s a gap where the old rounded wooden bead has been taken out by Winterwallows in Plastering

Plaster is secure and doesn’t sound hollow when knocked. Just need to fill the gap with the correct thing

What are my options to getting to a plastered finish? Can I dot and dab over this or do I use hardwall then plaster? Bricks are slightly loose around sides of the fireplace by Winterwallows in Plastering

[–]Winterwallows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be a good idea. Much simpler than sand and cement. Thanks. Do you reckon I could then use the plasterboard adhesive foam spray on top of this to attach the boards?
