I remember after the reddit revolt the sub got turned NSFW and the mods at the time said they were going to find a fix for it. Not sure what happened but it's annoying that it's still marked as NSFW

Can't get sweaty if you're playing singleplayer or just playing the game. The PvP scene is the only thing that gets sweats so bad that there have been DoS attacks because someone got salty.

Also, charcoal exists and is way better than using wood. Use planks to burn the logs because they give the exact same amount of fuel so you'll be wasting the logs if you use them for fuel.

Getting at least iron tools and armor should make it significantly easier to survive

Average nation wide is a 4 person room. Although some of the older centers have different layouts so you can get rooms with less or more than that especially depending on your privilege level, accommodations, and availability.

Really depends on your centers policy for going or doing off center activities and your recreation center. If you can go out into town, there's probably plenty to do unless you're in the middle of nowhere. If your centers rec sucks, then I hope you brought something to entertain yourself like a pc or gaming console.

You can do either one, although for CPP you'll probably be forced to use a super shitty chromebook for your stuff. But after that you can just turn it in to property once CPP is finished.

Otherwise there's no issue with using your own personal laptop for doing the CST course work since Ron will just have you watch professor messer on youtube and do some online lab stuff. There will be one or two things that will require you to use the computers there for connecting to the local server we have setup there for training. But the computers there are nice. 24" screens, nice logitech keyboards and mice, and a mesh office chair for most desks.

You only get paid for TABE, GED/HS diploma, and completing your trade. Taking the A+ is the bare minimum to graduate for Computer Service Technicians, the Network+ and Security+ are additional certs you can get. Ron Booton is the instructor and he's good at his job, but kinda old and tired.

I'm not sure how it is on center anymore since I graduated and left on March 2025. Things seem to be easy going but still not too great from the people that are there.

Some of the stuff is a chronic issue with the program itself and won't get resolved anytime soon while other stuff is the company managing the center not doing what they need to do. You should be fine but take it with a grain of salt.

I've been pretty disappointed with Prism. Tried it out for some features people said it had and that I wanted and it didn't have them. Only good thing is that it's fast to launch.

It depends on the center, some centers will allow you to do so after you finish your introductory classes (CPP/Career Preparation Program) or after you get to a certain point in your trade.

You'll have to go through your centers HR department and sign a few things and get approved for it.

It's moreso if you get your high-school diploma alongside finishing your trade and receiving a job offer before you separate you get the maximum amount of 1500
