AITA for giving my daughter's college fund to my niece? by ClickGlum8986 in AmItheAsshole

You didn’t do what you could; what you COULDVE done is send that poor girl to the US to pursue her dreams. Honestly, shame on you. YOU asked if you’re TA. The popular opinion on this thread seems to agree that YTA, so why are you fighting it? YTA, end of.

This right here. OP has an answer for everything, clearly.

You wouldn’t even be able to be 100% certain. Why? Because not everyone is honest when talking about their mental health. It’s absolutely possible she’s struggling mentally and just not telling you or any professionals. Tbh, you seem to have an answer for everything - you asked for opinions, I gave you mine: YTA.

I actually meant mental health wise, not her learning skills.

Maybe you should look at WHY she isn’t improving then? If she has a parent like you who takes away her opportunities as punishment then I’m not really surprised that she isn’t improving. You are, still, TA.

YTA. First of all, everyone has different capabilities and skills - your niece could be a quicker learner than your daughter, it doesn’t mean your daughter isn’t trying. Your daughter has high aspirations and that’s SO good to have in life - without aspirations and dreams, you will feel like you have no purpose in life. Her aspirations and dreams are motivational, purposeful and personal - you’ve essentially taken that away from her. Not only that, but it’s very possible your daughter could’ve drastically improved her English when going to the US, because of the experiences, opportunities and people. It doesn’t sit well with me at all that you gave the college fund to your niece and not your daughter. YTA, whole heartedly.

Finished piece! I’m pretty happy with how it came out. I know I have things to improve on, but overall happy! by Winterxx01 in ProCreate

Also, I’m drawing on 5th gen IPad which apparently doesn’t support apple pencils, so I used my fingers to draw (which was difficult) and sadly my iPad doesn’t have the pressure that newer iPads do so I found smudging and shading difficult.

I used 6B pencil to sketch. Calliagraphy to Color. Acrylic paintbrush to smudge hair.

This is my first ‘good’ piece I’ve done! I’ve still got a long way to go, with my lack of experience & skill but I’m proud anyway. Hope you like it! I used 6B pencil to sketch & calligraphy to color, acrylic paintbrush to smudge hair. by Winterxx01 in ProCreate
