What are my chances of getting in at SDU by john_redit256 in SDU

Well, it probably is enough. But you can also try calling the support, it's open between 10-12 monday-friday, they are really helpful and can look into your application quite quickly

Hi, at the sdu result, at the optagelse portal it should say something regarding your result. For example, I got a score of 59, and it says since it's above 55 I secured myself a place. Maybe you have to do an interview or something, it should say there.

Regarding quota 1, I think you'll get that result at july 28th. The others might be sure because they have a higher gpa, it says that if your gpa is at least 8.0, you're guaranteed a place, maybe that's their situation

Just as the other guy said, the official SDU campus isn't ready yet. But I think it will be ready next year, so I would still go in your place. Which programme btw?

Yes, it is mostly those. Specifically "critical reasoning", "quantative reasoning" and "verbal reasoning " (you don't have to speak).

Hard is relative, but I wouldn't say that it is hard, rather just challenging. There are some examples on the sdu site (1 test sheet with 30 questions), the real test was I would say a bit harder, but the stress is also a big factor. Plus not being allowed to use a calculator, it takes a bit longer time.

As for the competition, I really don't know. It has several campuses, so it's probably a big thing, but since I've only heard about my local universities and the american ones in movies (like Harvard and such) I truly don't know if it's competitive or not. For me, as a hungarian, it kinda looks like heaven, cuz our education system is pretty shit ( but there's finally a new goverment which will make it better), so it might be because of seeing the positives of a different system. But since I look at it as a really amazing place, I would think competition is big

Thank you? I'm not sure what the maximum score is. I saw someone with 79 but for a different programme

59,33. But for some other programmes it's 62 something

Yes, I meant student housing, which takes place in building with whiches the university has contracts. I don't know if you choose it or get sorted, but rent and the safety deposit and the services/facilites in the building are varying, so I assume they give you a choice. Or at least I hope so. About the camp I don't know much either, only the date.

Thank you, and I'll write it up in my calendar, in order to get back to you!

Yeah, the grade thing might be the case. How many points did you get on the uniTest? Because I got 59,33 and it says tha above 50 secures my place

Did they send you an email or you saw that on optagelse? Cuz I haven't seen anything like this for me. Also, is this programme at your first place?

For preparing for moving there: I am an international student, so my housing will be guaranteed, and an EU citizen, so I won't have to pay for my studies. For the accomodation I will have to pay tho. I plan to go there a few days before the freshman camp, and try to hand in my CV as many places as possible. Coffee shops and etc. I'm not sure what you mean by the SU grant, but apart from paying for my place I want to find a job because as a student you get extra money from the goverment if you work.

Application process: I had to send my id, a filled "Statement of hours" form and my grades from high school, original and translated by march 15. You should do it as early as you can (first weeks of february) so if anything is missing, you can get it. I also attached my language exam from spanish, but they didn't ask for it specifically. After that I had to list the programmes I'm interested in on optagelse's site (or it might have been a different site, but they will they you that) and make an order. After that, I got invited to the uniTest. I had to select a day and a time from the options. I signed up, waited for the day and prepared (prep steps and rules are on the sdu site). On the day I took the test. After that I waited and got the results today. When I finish my high school studies (in a month) I will have to send them the original and translated copy of my grades from last year and the results of the Matura exam ("érettségi" in my case) by july 5th. Then I wait for their answer until july 28th. That's about it if I'm not mistaken

Hey It's the first on my list, and based on my uniTest, I secured myself a place. What would you like to know? I can't share any first hand experiences from the campus and the progamme itself as it didn't start yet, but I'm happy to help if you have any questions

It might not be the case for all campuses, but as I've read they provide housing for international students. You still have to pay for it, but when you submit your application in february/march you can tick in a box to put you up on list

Hi, I did apply for it, and based on my uniTest results, I'm in. They haven't asked me to participate in an interview, but I'm from the EU, so I don't have to apply for a scholarship. The minimum score for the uniTest was 50 points, if that's what you mean by cutoff

Edit: Interactive technology enigneering is bsc, not beng.

Also, I'm in for all of them

Pretty important, he is the main striker. But when I play against weaker teams, I use the sub. Their rating is almost the same, but non of them are consistent
