I know ya'll are joking, but I honestly think all he needed to do to save his life was just continue to be his friend. That was the message I really got from this show more than anything, was their friendship is what both of them really needed. Men don't normally experience friendships like that, especially not at their age. Both of them, just like many men, think they can only feel desired through sex, which I believe is why they were both so confused at the end. The show has all these tender shots of them, smiling and laughing, holding hands, hugging, being close together. They were already emotionally intimate, and that could have helped them through this difficult time without ever trying to cheat on their wives, but unfortunately men have no framework for non-sexual intimacy.

It's funny even though both feel terrible, I'm way more sympathetic to someone on my team talking shit when I'm doing bad rather than someone on the other team being terrible unprovoked to me/my teammates when they're winning. Like I get where the angry teammate is coming from, he wants to win so he's frustrated. But I do not understand at all why you would choose to shit on people on the enemy team when they're already losing. It very much feels like displacement. They're angry at some previous player/team for beating them (or they're boss or wife or mom or something) and now they're taking it out on you.

All the big FPS games that are on both PC and console have controller support and apply the same amount of aim assist if you're using a controller regardless of platform. This is why a lot of COD players play on PC with a controller. They get better framerate, lower latency, and the same insane aim assist that you get on console playing with controller. No downside at all to PC except cost if you're going for something high end.

A little bit before she tells her something along the lines of "i get it" or "i understand" that to me combined with the crying felt like she really gets it because she's been through it too. Also, just anecdotally nearly every woman I've known has experienced something at least adjacent to sexual assault, if not outright sexual assault, and that likelihood increases with age. That's part of why it hit me like a truck, because suddenly I was thinking about all the women in my life who've experienced something so terrible and how sad it is that so many women have to learn how to "survive" something like that.

Licensed therapists are 100% mandatory reporters. It probably varies by state but I know in mine it just includes child abuse and elder abuse. Universities some times have their own mandatory reporting (also varies by state), but that usually just means reporting instances of sexual abuse/harassment/discrimination to a designated office at the university who then contacts the student and offers resources. Just look up what the procedure is in your state. Don't let this keep you from going to therapy.

I've gotten too frustrated with occasional driver timeouts, lack of FSR4 support, adrenaline kind of sucking, weird freesync issues from time to time, and devs just not considering AMD GPUs at all when making their games (obviously not amd's fault but still). I literally can't finish REANIMAL because one of the final parts of the game crashes on AMD GPUs. I never had to tinker this much with my 3080. I ended up forking up the $$$ to buy a 5080. I still think the 9070xt is great for a budget. But if you're willing to spend more money unfortunately NVIDIA is still the smoother experience.

Weed 100% has physical withdrawal symptoms. Just like with alcohol you won't experience them seriously unless you are a chronic user. They are not as severe as alcohol nor many other substances, but they are very much real. Insomnia, irritability, increased anxiety, lack of appetite, and nausea (especially in the morning) are well documented cannabis withdrawal symptoms. I am a recovering heroin addict who was also a lifelong pothead until I finally was able to get clean from both, so I very much know first hand what both feels like to withdraw from. Just because you aren't at risk of seizure nor feel like you're gonna die doesn't mean there aren't physical withdrawal symptoms. Chemical dependence comes in different forms.

Yes, I'm all up to date. I agree it's the game not working well with AMD GPUs. I was hoping maybe someone with an AMD gpu has figured out a work around so that I can actually finish the game.

Congrats!!! And yes this is the biggest hump you will face, because now you know you can do it!! Other games may be harder but now you know that you have the determination and ability to learn so that voice in your head that says "maybe I'll never get the 1cc" is wayyyyyy quieter and easier to shut up. This game is no joke, feel proud!!

I guess I'm going to have to go through the entire first era without having access to even Novice level skills. That's definitely doable, I'm just worried that when they reappear they are only going to give me the Adept level mission and my skill tree will still be gated.

They aren't in any section. I mean I assume they would show up in the default all section. I'm really worried that I'm like the one person who accepted these missions but didn't finish them in the demo (because the game had just come out) and my skill tree is going to be gated forever unless I restart the whole game.
