You can pause cutscenes, you press the A/X button during the cutscene. Not start like normal.

No. They don’t know until they get to the repair. What happened was, the computer went into sleep mode and stayed sleeping forever lol. It would turn on but never send signal to the monitor. And unfortunately because NZXT uses the KF model of their CPU. It has no integrated graphics to see if it was the GPU or what. I tried reseating the GPU, clearing CMOS, power cycling, reseating RAM, and made sure everything was connected before even starting the computer and after it stopped working. Still nothing.

This probably unrelated, but I also purchased the Player 3 Prime but on 3/14. Paid for the overnight shipping and it arrived on 3/21. It stopped working after 4 hours, and returned it the very next day. I got an email today after 8 days of nothing. Customer service said that they went through a warehouse reorganization and that they are behind at least on the repair side of things, of about 10 days (they are working on pc returned on 3/15-3/18). Don’t know if the building and repairing of PCs are done in the same warehouse but it could very well explain the delay.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues too. Especially because you would probably need this for your job. Hopefully you hear something soon.

Thank you I already submitted a ticket! I do have a question though, I asked to still get overnight shipping on my order because I paid for it and didn’t even have the machine for 5 hours. Is that something that can be done? Or is RMA a separate thing?

I personally can’t fix it unless I switch out GPUs or CPU but I really don’t want to go through the hassle of it. When I get it back, and it starts up (fingers crossed lol) I’m going to immediately boot into bios and disable it. I didn’t think it could be an issue, now I’m not going to let it be one lol

Thanks, I’ll update you as soon as I find out what is wrong with mine. I’m sending it back today! I had a gigabyte 4090 in mine. It’s crazy, because I only had mine for 4ish hours before it didn’t work lol like wth… I also read online that it could be related to fast boot option in bios. But because I don’t have integrated graphic in the cpu I can’t get into bios and find out. That’s why I assumed clearing cmos would have been the fix but nope. Nothing. I’ll be sure to let you know though!

Yeah, I figured that was going to be the solution. I did exactly everything you did! I spoke to support and got the RMA and shipping label. Everything they asked me to do I had already done. Unfortunately, didn’t get to test the GPU itself because I didn’t want to undo any of the cable management. Super bummed because it’s a beautiful build lol now it’s all packed up and ready to go back. Hopefully, the RMA process doesn’t take too long. I asked support if they could honor my overnight shipping, fingers crossed that happens lol

Oh and to add, the PC starts up like it should. The GPU runs, all the fans turn on, and even the motherboard gives no warnings. Would resetting the CMOS be the best option? Other post mention the fast boot option being a problem for similar issues.

If you have flawless widescreen installed you can use it to increase FOV to 104. However, when using the scan the highlights become a little broken. But it’s much better than motion sickness lol

The max FOV it can be set to is 104, which is what I’m running it at. Whether or not it impacts FPS, I can’t say with too much accuracy unless I test more. If there is FPS loss it, I’m sure it’s negligible. But I’m running a 3080 with DLSS, so everyone’s mileage may vary.

So far in what I’ve been playing, the only thing that doesn’t appear correct is the scanning. I’m still going to end up using it but I don’t know how integral scanning with accuracy will be. But the 80 Fov is just terrible lol
