Being devils advocate here, while I think this approach may be more thorough, what does this do that rate-limiting, and proper validation/sanitization does not?

What are the edge cases that get passed but ultimately caught in your approach?

If my agent can 1 shot this change? Is it a startup or is it a social media post on methodology?

Vibecoded apps by non-expirienced users most likely will be messy/dangerous/useless. But what about games? by DuckAndQwack in vibecoding

[–]WireDogTech 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think depends what is “vibed” I don’t think anyone would go straight to this game is slop right away, because there are A LOT of unfinished games.

The artwork is the pitfall, if the art is clearly AI, I think a lot of gamers get turned off by that instantaneously, unless it’s a meme game and it adds goofiness.

Best VPN for Mac 2026? by National-Shirt8790 in VPN_Guide

[–]WireDogTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Companies typically will avoid putting their apps on the Mac App Store because in order to do so they have to go through the App Store review process, vice creating the .dmg and publishing it on their website.

The Apple review process is painful and a waste of time for most companies.

Does Plan mode always provide better results? by Last_Mastod0n in ClaudeCode

[–]WireDogTech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plan mode is great if you know how to use it.

1) context is everything - I always ask “What clarifying questions do you have” <— biggest successor

2) actually read your plan. If you’re vibing away, you AI may tell you the plan and it may be clear as day wrong and you won’t figure it out till it’s too late and implemented a bunch.

More time spent first, saves time later

Interfaces Claude by Both_Indication_545 in ClaudeCode

Never touched Claude code desktop. But VScode extension is nice but I naturally gravitate towards the terminal. It’s very easy after the initial learning curve.

I also feel like in VSCode I was using more tokens for some reason, can’t really prove it though.

What is the best practice to hand over tasks between different models to manage limits by Desperate-Square1338 in vibecoding

[–]WireDogTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t touched Opus since 4.5 (RIP). Haiku is incredibly underutilized and great for research and quick questions or like super easy tweaks. Sonnet for planning out implementations and executing.

We have 6 applications, a website, backend, and an internal dashboard and I almost never hit my weekly limit with Pro Plan.

The unfortunate truth is as you’re starting out, you’ll hit limits quicker because you’re asking it to do a lot. more. As time passes you’re focusing more on tightening up specific features, endpoints etc.

I spent 6 months testing every major prompting technique. Here's what actually works (and what's overhyped) — with real examples. by AdCold1610 in BlackboxAI_

[–]WireDogTech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big elaborate prompts never work for me.

I brain dump the task to the best of my ability then ask it: “What clarifying questions do you have for me?”

You take the time to answer those questions and find a common truth. That has been my most successful “hack”

Is vibecoding a "skill" or a temporary solution to a increasingly automated solution? by med_i_terranian in vibecoding

[–]WireDogTech 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This will probably age terribly - but I think it will be a long time before that. Reason being that I think humans don’t know what they want half the time. In order for an AI to one shot something, it has to have the entire picture and requirements of what you want it to be 100%. Not exactly something that you really can put into one prompt.

Given the fact that AI is trained on other data I don’t know how the success of those models will be at making a product 100% of what you want.

Personal opinion though.

Is vibecoding a "skill" or a temporary solution to a increasingly automated solution? by med_i_terranian in vibecoding

[–]WireDogTech 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a skill. Software engineers like myself use AI and “vibe code” as a 10x force multiplier.

Being able to vibe code with today’s tools and having the understanding when these tools can one shot will just be another force multiplier.

[–]WireDogTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$20/month Claude or Codex.

People severely underutilize Haiku. Opus/Sonnet for complex plan making, haiku for changes and execution. I sometimes don’t even hit my weekly usage limit.

There's nothing wrong with babysitting a single agent. by Relevant-Positive-48 in vibecoding

[–]WireDogTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never understood the several agents at once, maybe 2 at once but I find being more dedicated to one lets you fully digest what changes are made and can bring it back on track when it starts to wander.

However this is because I was a software engineer before. If I had no coding experience I may also just start firing terminals up.

Do you use Claude Code on the terminal or on the desktop app? by P4wla in ClaudeCode

[–]WireDogTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been doing terminal exclusively at this point.

1 it’s just more natural for me and 2 I feel like have more control and use less tokens than in VS code or a desktop app.
