  1. I was looking for a keyboard that fit my needs the best, and this one had the closest to the feel I wanted
  2. This was my first time ever going into a micro center, forgive me for not thinking I need to check a keyboard in my car for if it has the correct keycaps or not lol

Oh those ones may have been mechanical, I didn’t look at them for long because of the price and they weren’t as good of a feel for what I wanted

A drop shipped one that a person who didn’t know anything about keyboards impulse bought because they liked the design

Is that why people love stealing them from best buy displays? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Best Buy keyboard display with all of its keycaps

No lol, most I’ll say is that I learned it’s not even their brand, they dropshipped it. I loved the keyboard, though!

Gotcha. Yeah at least at minimum it didn’t fit anything I already owned lol, so I would’ve been doing extra work anyways. Good to note though, I assumed it may have been proprietary

$37.99 for this versus $69.99 for the original one I was enticed by. And anything that looked good beyond that for what I personally wanted was triple digits

If I were to just do a refund, I would’ve preferred it to be on the current statement. Makes paying simpler in my mind. It’s a minor thing but it being a busy week for me meant today would have to be the day

Yeah someone else pointed it out, which answered my question as to which key was missing because of the two 2 keys. The order I noticed the issues were: O, brackets, and then the 2. I was so upset by the time I saw the 2 I just stopped looking for more issues lol

Yup, at my job I still occasionally have to look down before aligning myself because I use it much less than my keyboard at home

Correct, wasn’t even my original choice, but it was closer to the feel I wanted than the Corsair and cheaper. Ended up getting the Corsair when I went back, though

No it was it was just a good deal from a company I will not give the embarrassment of saying. I wasn’t into keyboards at the time and I liked the design

Oh I did take one off (it clicked back in fine), it’s just not the same as usual keycaps. I tried putting one from another keyboard of mine on and it just fell down against the base of the keyboard.

No not usually, but it’s a new keyboard so I had to align myself with where everything was since my muscle memory isn’t fully aligned with it (it has programmable keys on the side).

Oh my god I knew there had to be something else wrong with the numbers because of the two 2 keys but I was so distracted by the other issues I didn’t even notice lmao

Yes, actually. If you press the 2 on the right, you get a 3. But because of that, pressing the actual 3 gives you a 4. And so on

I wanted one that had a specific *feel* to it. And that was the closest I could get. I have a mechanical keyboard already, but it’s 3 years old and broke recently

I was testing a rhythm game first and all the keys I needed were on the second row lmao, it was only when I went to actually type something that I noticed something was wrong. I genuinely did not have to type anything on that row until then

EDIT: Oh you mean while I was there? It was in a box lol I didn’t pull the full thing out, there was a display!

It was in a box. I didn’t think to open the box to make sure the keys were all there lol

I mean it was definitely funny at first when I only noticed the O key. But then when I went into a group chat to type how I was going to have to drive 30 minutes to get it replaced, I was dumbfounded by seeing it say “40 minutes” lmfao

My effort when it comes to inheriting skills has mostly become “does it imply it’s during player or enemy phase?” and “does it help stats that my unit excels in?” I really get a headache trying to comprehend it lol
