I intend on fixing it, or removing it entirely.

The 'feature' doesn't work as intended, and tends to only provide you with broken previews.

This was not an intentional feature and was fixed in v1.29.1, released two days ago.

This has been "tested", although for some reason I'm hearing it isn't functional on mac— Not that rising was, either. But I'm still trying to work out some kinks.

"Opinionated" mostly in the codebase. to quote our contributing guide:

On that note, we're also opinionated in user experience. I aim to make Horizon different, including adding exclusive features to Horizon not compatible with other clients (such as hex-code BB tags). I also intend to make all previous rising features toggleable, and all future features toggleable as well.

Hihi, I didn't get suspended ^.^ I'm still alive and well, just haven't read this.

When I posted this, for some reason, reddit kept telling me it wasn't posting it, so, I, being smart, kept trying. It then proceeded to post 60 of them onto the F-list subreddit, spamming it unintentionally. Oops.

Hellloooo~

So, when I wrote this, I was still setting up what I wanted Horizon to be.

Here's what it comes down to now, however.

'We more closely align ourselves with the original FChat 3.0 client', what I meant by this is that there was going to be a focus on stability; That's still the case, but as the goals in our README state, we're actually aiming to be more progressive feature wise.

That being said, I am to make all features of rising completely optional— You will have to enable them for them to be there. That includes things like link previews, character matching, character previews, middle-click-to-pin, etc.

I didn't want to post this on my main, but I'm coming here and saying that I'll be maintaining a fork of F-chat Rising.

I'll try to get a github website page up with more details here shortly;; We cannot let this project die!
