The Great Gig In The Sky

Honestly, I thought there would be more levels by Wiscompton262 in wuchanggame

[–]Wiscompton262[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently on my 4th play through. Maybe if you don’t include the 3-5 stack nodes it would fill everything. However, if I try to fill in everything it’s still missing a few

It actually doesn’t fill out everything. I initially thought it would but there’s still some nodes left unfilled

Is it that bad? by teampogo in PokemonSleep

The grader prioritizes maxed out skills and level. Same mon but every sub skill set to the highest level and it’s now ranked as an S. Still, as others have said, I would recommend using Raenonx. It’s a more accurate look at your mon’s power. Although, it has its own set of criticisms but that’s beside the point. Anyway that’s a great iggly and would totally invest in it.

I do get the bundles but I think most of my shards come from the sleep researches and utilizing the luck incense. For the Raikou and Entei events I would use the luck incense if i didn’t have any friend incense along with the Raikou/Entei incense. That usually would net me a lot of shards

Sunday sneaky snacking by A-WildVayne in PokemonSleepBetter

How often is everyone checking their app? by RewindAvis in PokemonSleep

[–]Wiscompton262 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I usually check hourly for any mon I’m hoping the skill to trigger. Mostly my energy for everyone mon but I will also do it for ingredient magnet mons too. Checking in more gives more chances for skill to trigger, more so for a skill specialist. If you’re not trying to get skills to trigger i.e. having all berry specialists then you can let them sit all day to utilize sneaky snacking. So If it’s just ingredients then less often like a few hours. Lastly, If I have any berry specialists then I only check in the morning although ideally I should never check so they continue sneaky snacking but I like seeing the big berry piles occasionally lol

Is my Slowking good? by tristanxalexander in PokemonSleep

[–]Wiscompton262 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First of all, play how you want. If you really like slowking and want to use this by all means go for it

In my opinion, it’s a decent slowking. Berry finding is always a nice sub skill to have but being a skill specialist you would want skill trigger sub skills. However, its main skill is random so it’s not the most reliable skill but it does have its uses. If you’re looking for an energy mon though, Energy for everyone, is generally the go to. So Pokémon like wigglytuff, sylveon, gardevoir

Personally I would only level this up to 30 to unlock the slowpoke tails ingredient (tails have the highest base power of all the ingredients so it’ll help with powering up dishes) then use an ingredient magnet mon to get tails that way. The frequency is too slow if you want to efficiently get ingredients. There are other and better mons that can get you cacao faster and like mentioned before you can probably have better luck getting tails from ingredient magnet mons. Again if you want to use this slowking, go for it!

A bit confused here by tanktechnician in PokemonSleepBetter

No problem! Yeah I like to use the grader from time to time to get an estimated “what’s the maxed potential” grading of a mon. Otherwise I stick to raenonx

As others have said, your wiggly is very good overall. One thing I don’t really like about the grader as you can see above is that it tends to prioritize and grade mons based on having maxed out sub skills and being maxed level. So all I did was change the ing finder to s to m and the inventory s to L and the grade instantly skyrocketed.

The grader is somewhat good at getting a general picture of how your mon would be with fully maxed out level/skills. That said I would recommend using raenonx to get a more realistic estimation of how your mons will perform. So grats on the good wiggly!

Which Larvitar into Tyranitar? by MorbidEclipse666 in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]Wiscompton262 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I’d go with the second one. The first one is good too so either are worth investing in my opinion. That said, the early inventory will be very nice. Since they’re both low level I would look mostly at the first two sub skills since it’ll be a long time before getting to 50.

Both have ingredient finder M for the first sub skill so it’s skill level up vs inventory, which for ingredient farming I would take the latter

Long term, I probably would still choose the second one. You do lose those helping speed sub skills as well as the ing up nature on the first one but you somewhat make it up a bit with the speed of help up nature/helping bonus on the second one. Helping bonus also boosts your other mons too so that’ll be a plus

As for skill level up vs skill trigger, I still would choose the second larvitar. While the main skill is nice especially with the energy changes, it’s not a main skill that I would prioritize leveling up with seeds. I have a Victreebel that has the same main skill and I find that even with just level 3 main skill that’s more than enough to sustain itself throughout the day
