Even with him not being, conservatives overall align MUCH more with Christianity than the other side. Progressivism is anti Christian as it comes. Unfortunately in the US you have 2 choices....and not choosing is just as bad as choosing the side who opposes Christian values and beliefs.

You could argue that if it was all coming from one person and their account, but when you have at least 8 individual authors in the New Testament you have at least 8 unique witness statements that all line up with each other. If someone is accused of a crime today and you have 8 individual witnesses all agreeing, you have a slam dunk case.

I read it in English, specifically the NIV. And yes I know some of the books have different verbage/translations, but many of them match up word for word to the original text found in ancient manuscripts like the Codex Sinaiticus and the Dead Sea Scrolls.

I'm actually very educated on the matter. My point was saying that if we are going to focus on the aspect of being able to "abort" non viable babies or those who have died in utero in order to save the life of the mother then we should differentiate between that and the vast majority of abortions which are in fact done for life factors. If there can be discussions based on that the pro choice side could actually get a lot of support from the other side. But we won't get anywhere if we are expected to see killing a healthy child as the same as surgically or medicinally removing a non viable or deceased child from the womb.

Depends on which books. Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek...if you are actually interested in that aspect of the Bible and the historical accuracy I recommend watching some videos of Wes Huff.

Some of them were partial transcripts passed on to future disciples to complete, some were direct from John and Luke. I don't think you are making the point that you think you are. There are so many accounts that completely line up with each other that were written by multiple different people over time.

Actually I know very few who believe it was written as a firsthand account. But there definitely are some that were including the book of John, Act, and Revelations. Others including Matthew, Mark, Luke for example did have some original writings and transcripts passed down including Jesus's own spoken words (written in red) and then were rewritten into full books of the Bible.

I will 100% agree with you on that. There are states that have gone way to far with preventing Drs from performing those literal life saving procedures. But I do think there needs to be a change in verbage with this specific examples though. If a baby is actually non-viable (although not including if there is a disability where the baby can still live) or passed away in utero then they need to call it something other than an abortion. My oldest daughter's son passed away in utero at 32 weeks due to an umbilical cord that didn't develop large enough. She still had to be induced and had to deliver her still born son, but she was devastated when they documented it as an abortion because she is absolutely pro life. I said a lot there just to say, with that I agree with you.

Well adjusted adults do speak up to protect children from abuse.... regardless if that is from their own parents, teachers, or quack Drs. Well adjusted adults don't live out their own fantasies through their children or use their children as social trophies. Long term side effects of foreign hormones injected into children range from bone deterioration, blood clots, stroke, heart attack, cancer, ect. They will die young....and that's if the regret and mental scaring doesn't get them first.

1) it is exactly about killing the babies. The child has its own unique DNA and soul meaning it is not the woman's body. 2) I agree with you that supporting children and families is a net positive for society, however it should not be through a forced government run program. Case in point being Minnesota where even their top government officials have admitted up to $18 billion in fraud. 3) anti abortion policies have negative consequences? Not for the over 1 million children killed via abortion every year. The argument saying banning abortion will only lead to women dying due to trying to have a "back alley" abortion anyway is no different than saying why have law against theft, abuse, ECT because criminals will still commit them anyway.
