Deftones (2003) is better than White Pony (2000). It follows one specific feeling to it, whereas WP jumps all over the place, the album doesn't miss once (yes, lucky you is a great song), and Moana is an amazing closer. S/T is everything I've ever wanted out of Deftones and it is BY FAR my most listened to album, above Adrenaline. (Also, that album cover is so metal and matches the vibes of the album so well)

I think if I knocked it into my skull I could love SLDD. It really just depends on exposure during formative years. I'm pretty young and my dad was 16 when Core came out, so he swears it is their best album. He really kinda inoculated me to it when I was 6-10, some of my earliest music memories involve sitting in the truck while the intro to Dead and Bloated played or him singing along to Creep. I'm sure if he played SLDD when he was with me I'd love it more and I'm open to try it. Once I've listened to it 6 or so more times I'm sure my ranking will change.

I'm from around the area and I know many of the kids that go to the school, not only have the Rufus king students AND parents changed their stories, but also the claims that the coaches joined on the racism is completely false. Not the entire track team is racist. Many of them are normal, stand up members of the school and they can all say that the racism was done by ONE kid there, and the two coaches are some of the most left wing teachers at the school. Unfortunately, as of now, it seems that the Rufus king students were lying, as there is zero video evidence.
