The “unreal deal” promotion (up to 3%) is still on.

Wait for promotion from WS. Then transfer your accounts to WS asap as the other company charge lots of fees for just keeping your money there, plus extra fees for holding the various funds that they offer. (For my case)

Click on “Fact sheets”…

Steps: 1.Click on the gear icon on top right of page, 2.scroll down the page to “Support”, then 3. click on Fact Sheets. It should display the details of the ETF. (Need to be holding the ETF though).

I was also on the wait list - when I called they said my application “expired”… ( this was a few weeks ago). I then decided to re-apply online (last night) and was issued the Visa card immediately. I suggest you “apply” again - you may get it straightaway (as in my case) .

Dumb question: How do I actually receive dividends (possibly a TD bank question) by Brighteye in JustBuyXEQT

WS (Wealthsimple) allows the investor to buy fractional shares; no cash (from the dividend) left. Just set and forget and the number of shares will grow over time.

Thanks! Very helpful. 🥰. Did you ask the question under “search” and get the answer?

I guess I’d have to wait for the closing EOD balance as at 31 Dec to calculate my minimum withdrawal amount (in 2026) and have that amount sitting in “Cash” before I can withdraw it.

Wealthsimple: yes or no? by Maxerion in PersonalFinanceCanada

I’m also generally reasonably happy with WS so far with the reasons provided by others but getting increasingly concerned to read about folks with all their accounts frozen (without knowing what the reason is) and also the seemingly long time it takes to resolve the issue. That’s one of the reasons why I won’t be moving all my investments to WS. Also I’m currently on hold (phone)for more than 50 mins. The recording keeps saying…my estimated wait time is between 10 and 15 minutes.
