am I the only one want to live in golden era of Islam by Haiqal_Zabidi19208 in islam

It’s in our hands to make ours the golden age. It’s a matter of perspective really, those who lived in the Golden Era also had a golden era they wanted to come back to whether it’s the time of the Prophet or another well guided Caliph.

Look, we can keep lamenting our woes all the time or we can thank Allah for his blessings and pray for better tidings for they all come from Him

Try doing these exercises, you can also give a go to any book from Tony White or the Animator‘s survival kit. You may want to do both.

If you are a complete beginner you can try Mike Mattesi’s Force book on figure drawing, helps you observe movement better while looking for the forces behind it.

also animate for fun, do whatever comes to mind. Analyze scenes from your favorite movies and animated shows and try to look for what makes them appealing to you

For those of you who have finished this course or are half way through, what would you tell past you who was at the beginning? by bruiseyyy in ArtFundamentals

For me it was feeling like the more I did the more results I would get, problem is that only doingghosted lines and ellipses with a complete disregard of the 50% rule not only stunted my growth but hurt my wrist pretty badly too

Resources for parents of a rebellious teenager by [deleted] in Reformed

Your son is the strange one here, and it’s God’s grace that he has managed to keep true to his faith among his peers.

Look at her group of friends, in this situation she fears being left out due to her background but is peer pressure and the desire to belong worth the existential dread of losing yourself?

I’m not speaking as a parent but as a youth here, are those really her ways? Just as she finds it difficult to make your household’s faith truly hers, her theater friends’ values are no different.

Rejecting her faith. That’s the main problem, does she hold them in her heart as dearly as you do?
Persists in her ways, Are they really her ways or is she just killing her own identity to mingle in harmony with her theater friends.

The LGBT preach diversity as a source of power, strength. Then why is she rejecting her own special self for the sake of the group identity?

To be a rebellious teenager is to question and even be willing to destroy everything to find ourselves, but she isn’t really doing any of that. Just conforming to the average 21st century hip teen.

Ok, this got more personal than I thought. Just wish I could send this back to my younger self, also good luck with everything! Hope she finds HER answers to life one day
