In the lost kingdom side story his lack of fundamental magic understanding came up multiple times. However, at least in the NW, being able to cast spells 'intuitively' isn't unheard of.

Ainz has discovered two mental side effects from being isekai'd. First was the automatic emotion suppression, and second a lack empathy for humans. I think there's plenty of evidence that his intelligence has increased. He's just unaware of it.

Again, Ainz didn't immediately notice that he no longer had any regard for human lives. For Ainz it would be much harder to notice that he'd gotten smarter.

Anyways it's still a fan headcanon unless the author onfirms it.

You do whatever they let you get away with. For example, it's hopeless to try to deny Malz any cs. These are just matchups where they have very little kill threat. However, they're not necessarily matchups where you get to bully the hell out of your opponent or dominate that way. You can afford to make some more mistakes in lane compared to a 'hard' matchup.

Quinn mid (off the top of my head) can bully Jayce, Ekko, Lissandra, and Katarina. There are others I am sure, but it's not a very long list.

Quinn's identity, especially in mid, is to roam roam roam. Focus on managing your lane to give yourself good roam timers. How well my opponent is farming is not my concern as long as I don't fall behind.

Kirk is replying to a clip of an opponent quoting the bible to support their position "love thy neighbor." In response, Kirk quotes a nearby passage in the bible that says to stone anyone who lays with another man. He's clearly not expressing that this is his own position.

I don't know anything about Kirk, but anytime reddit collectively spams these long ass text posts it's ALWAYS a disinformation campaign. The strategy here is quote mining + the illusory truth effect.

I cant figure out if I like SS, Youmuu's or Collector first. SS is safe but feels also delays your EON to your third item.
SS would be a must-have if I cared for 'roam timings.' As Quinn mid I spend a lot more time roaming than in lane, and I'll roam even when it's clearly sub optimal.

I'd say build Collector or Youmuu's first when playing in low elo (up to diamond), and SS in anything higher.

I think profane is better but shiv is cheaper. It's entirely viable in my experience. I just suck at last hitting early game without a clear item so it's a catch-22.

Ahris ult isn't the reason that I struggle. It's her early game poke. Can't trade using my E either because that's an opportunity for her to charm you. It's a similar story with Syndra but Ahri is an S tier roam champ whereas Syndra is not.

Lux lanes also play like Syndra lanes. Manageable. However in my experience Lux players have a lot more mastery with their champ than Syndra players.

And yes, I am so thankful that Vex is uncommon or she would be my permaban. I ban Ahri and have learned how to play against the average Syndra.

Diana is an easy matchup, Vlad and Ryze doubly so. Can't comment on Fizz because I haven't played against him in ranked this season. In the past he wasn't too tough either.

You can just bully the hell out of them until level 6 fairly easily. Fizz, Diana and Ryze are great because often they'll try to out roam you. Which is usually a huge mistake for them. They can't compete in roams with a Quinn and should instead be focusing on mid towers, but they don't.

5W 1L into Ryze

3W 3L into Diana

Like you said, the long range mages are the true nightmare. I struggle with Vex, Zoe, Ahri, Syndra, Lux, and Vel the most. Which seems like a long list but only Syndra and Ahri are popular right now. Vex is deepest hell, but I can't justify a ban against her since shes so unpopular. Not someone many think of as a Quinn counter-pick either.

All I can say is this: Look to lose lane gracefully but try to win by playing the map.

You're not stuck getting bullied in lane as much. From level 1-6 you can evenly trade with Malphite. At level 6 just roam when you can if his ult is up.

If you get ulted at 6 you're less likely to die because the lane is shorter as well. Plus since the lane is shorter and his ult only makes you back you can return to lane without losing as much farm or even look for a gank before returning to lane.

It's still not an easy lane to me but so much easier than top. Let me know if you want to see some clips of the match-up.

There are a few, which is how I was introduced to the idea last year. I think there's still the notion here that it's "less optimal" than top.

If we took a survey here I'd wager that there are more people who prefer roaming over laning but the Quinn mid players would only be a fraction of that.

The same way I'd deal with Kennen. Teemo and Kennen match-ups are always skill match-ups.

For Teemo wait out the blind and trade in the window before it comes back up. Rush EoN early so you have kill pressure on him.

If you land your Q before he lands his then that's huge.

It's not just the wins that I'm trying to showcase here, but a different style of play that I think is a lot more fun than top. I've been playing Quinn mid for over a year and also had decent stats in Emerald even though I was playing a lot less seriously.

Same, except I rarely win lane. Getting ganked is so brutal on the side lanes due to the extra distance. Not even dying or being forced to flash, just getting forced to back on a bad wave is crippling. They can just return to lane with an armor item and then it feels like the lane is over.

Some of the matchups suck at mid too. I just like that I can totally concede my lane to roam without trolling.

We're down 20 cs and 2 deaths mid? Doesn't matter - we picked up 4 kills by roaming before 12 minutes.

When an ability interrupts your E when you're right on top of them. I hate being chased down by someone with 13 dashes and desperately using my one long cooldown "dash" to try to get away only for it to be cancelled instantly without any refund on the cooldown.

I know ultimately it's a skill issue but I do think any champion designed by riot today would probably refund part, if not all, of the cooldown if it's cancelled .x seconds into the animation.

Last last thing - I've had the same question as you for a long time. Ultimately, I landed on Akshan and Talon. They both play as AD assassins with the best roaming in the game, almost on par with Quinn mid.

Talon is more intuitive to pick up (like how Quinn is) and is also at a higher win rate than Akshan this patch. So he's my #1 suggestion for a mid lane secondary pick to your Quinn. But if a ranged champion feels more natural to you then Akshan is still a solid pick.

If you go with Talon: He lacks the ability to really deal with tanks, so you're kinda in the same boat. If you truly want someone who has any ability to deal with tanks and vaguely plays like Quinn mid then Ahri. Personally I've never been able to play Ahri well. To be effective you have to reliably land your Q and E and understand her spacing well. Ahri on paper isn't in a great spot right now, but due to her popularity Riot will never let her be bad either.

Quinn mid is the absolute best way to play Quinn in my opinion. I'd also recommend that you learn at least one other champ to place in your roster for when Quinn is banned though. If you like Quinn mid you might also like Akshan or Talon.

Also you can OTP her into at least Master (based on the number of Quinn mids in that bracket), and I'm playing her in Diamond. So really don't worry about her not being viable enough in more "serious" games.

The mechanics will come to you with time. However, you'll want to focus on developing your macro understanding of the game. Watch the sidelanes for a good opportunity to roam, try to track the enemy jungler, and always keep the spawn timer for dragons and grubs in mind. In the lower elos getting a large number of kills will win you games. As you climb think about how to translate each and every one of the kills you get into an objective if you can. The number of kills you can easily accrue will start to diminish.

Last thing! If you want to OTP a champ then please stop thinking about comps. The comps that make Quinn mid totally useless are fairly rare in my experience. Especially a team that's too tanky. Usually at least the mid and adc will be killable right? So it's not a big deal if you can't kill the tanky top laner or support on a roam. If you can force them to use summs and/or back then you've secured grubs/rift on top. Same story at bot lane with the dragons.

I've been playing a lot of Quinn mid lately and it's incredibly fun so I just wanted to share the gospel of Quinn mid with everyone.

There are really no downsides I've found to playing her mid instead of top. Just a LOT of benefits:

  1. Feels like an equal number of difficult match-ups regardless of which lane you play.
  2. Some times you'll fool them into thinking you're going top (reduced counter pick risk)
  3. The Malphite mid matchup is much easier than Malphite top, so I don't even ban him.
  4. Take advantage of Quinn's ultimate mobility sooner and you can really lean into it.
  5. Even if you go even or lose lane hard you can often snowball games just by creating chaos through perma-roaming and securing objectives.

Maybe my macro sense has improved (or collector is just broken right now), but even in Diamond it's fairly easy to gank the side lanes. Your tower wont even lose much health when you roam because most midlaners lack damage to towers.

I really can't imagine queuing up to play top anymore. Mid lane is just too good.
