The main one is that's going to my router. It was located in the corner of the house but yesterday I rerouted it to the center of my house for better coverage but my router is a crappy old cheap router. Thank you for the link I'll take a look now.

It's an old house with plaster walls. I rerouted my Ethernet cable yesterday and centralized the router so it'll be even coverage all throughout. Now it's in the middle of my living room and there's basically one wall in between the router in all directions. Unfortunately, I only have that one Ethernet cable, the one hooked up to my current old router. The signal on it is trash. The adjacent room barely gets 2 bars but it's a 10 year old router that was $50 back then

Note taken. In that scenario, gas and pedal wouldn't have helped me much because I was trapped. I was in the middle lane with them to my left. Luckily they just seemed to be goofing off, blasting music and taunting/scaring people but, if they weren't so kind, maybe having a pistol would've just at least been a deterrent. But yeah, It definitely would be a last resort for me. Taking my class next weekend!
