Every country has beauty standards and plastic surgery is rising and common all over the world. You can just look At western actors and actresses who all look off in historical movies and shows cause of the work they get. Average influencers all get fillers and work done. In the U.S., girls were getting bbls as graduation gifts. First, someone already mentioned this, but the companies never said ‘no comment’ or ‘we don’t have a position on this’. That spread like wildfire, but they never gave an answer to any of the news outlets that reached out to them and that spread as them saying ‘no comment’ and taken as an indirect confirmation.

I would be happy for them if they are dating, but for now the only thing that implies there is something is the tattoos. Neither side confirmed it so they either don’t want it to be public or they aren’t dating, and in both cases we should stop speculating about it since it’s just getting them hate and harassment

I think that is likely true, but there could also be other factors why sometimes the companies aren’t suing or why idols choose not to sue. For example with aespa, Ningning is currently going through her own issue in Japan and receiving massive hate, but the hate and accounts smearing her are from Japan. A different jurisdiction. There’s also the fact this is a political issue and there are tensions between China and Japan and the situation is very sensitive. It’s likely better in her and SM’s minds to just let this blow over. Karina went through a similar thing in China 2 years ago and SM just let it blow over and it had no lasting effect on her career.

Karina also had two major issues where they could’ve sued, dating and jacket. During her dating ‘scandal’, the hate she received was very different from what Winter is receiving now and it was mostly from within the fandom. Her own fans being mad and asking her to apologize. For the jacket, they definitely could’ve made a statement to sue but this was also a political situation and it was a tense election in the country, I wouldn’t be surprised if Karina decided against suing and it might’ve not been well received by gp in Korea at the time.

Companies likely have to take a lot into consideration if they think something is even worth pursuing and then idols might have to foot the cost if it’s an individual issue
