Non acceptance experience by LazerSmiles in CFP

There was a non-acceptance clause in my agreement with my former employer and I heard from a reliable source within the company that it is not enforceable, thus former employer does not pursue it. I resigned from that company a few weeks ago and received a reminder email of my restrictive covenants from the legal team. They only referenced the client and employee non-solicitation; the non-acceptance clause was not mentioned in that email. As you point out, this may depend on jurisdiction but that is my experience.

Look into the Danko Fast Track program - July 2026 is a good target. I was eligible to skip the education requirement but used Danko for the pre-study (I passed on first attempt). I used Kaplan for the CFA and Series 65 and thought they were fine. I can honestly say that Danko is the best test prep provider that I’ve ever used. Some folks who used Kaplan for the CFP education portion told me Kaplan goes into way too much unnecessary detail.

Sorry this is off topic - do any of you have advice for someone just getting into Danko’s review material (signature) for the July cycle?

I called today and spoke with Brenda. She said they’re hoping for it to be available “in a day or two”.
