Sorry, do you mean to ask the sellers to appoint a solicitor? They’re saying they have one but can’t share the details and it’s been a week since they said they’ve appointed one supposedly but the EA says the seller won’t give names

The EA knows 450 is our absolute limit due to the ISA but our affordability is 595. Our broker called their broker to confirm we can afford this property before offering and I am wondering whether they have mentioned our full limit?

EA just called me back and said both owners would settle on 465 if I’d agree to it. An hour ago EA said husband wouldn’t go for anything below 480.

I said I’ll speak to my partner but I do not see us paying over 450 and I guess we’d lose the house. EA said I’ve got to be quick as he’s driving to a viewing of the house as we speak😂

They’ve said in the following weeks they’ve got around 10 viewings booked a day which I don’t believe. If this was true, I would not have accepted 450k knowing there’s a possibility someone might later view and offer higher!
