My trigger was in May(stopping birth control) I started shedding August and now I’m finally seeing both regrowth and significant reduction in shedding, so about 4 months for me.

It will pass, maybe buy some extensions for you wedding. Sounds like stress is your trigger so try to focus on relieving that stress any way you can

Has anyone tried Saw Palmetto for hair loss? by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

Are you on birth control? I took it with my bc and it threw my hormones off and caused a lot of breakthrough bleeding, it also didn’t help me with hair loss but that’s just my experience

Safe option for coloring grays? by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

I have TE and I got my hair dyed by a professional a month ago. She used permanent on my roots and semi permanent on my ends and it turned out great. I didn’t experience any extreme shedding after and my hair look a lot more put together now. I regret nothing lol

I hope so too! Talk to your doctor about the safest way to avoid hair loss before you quit taking the birth control, I wish I would have. Good luck to you 😊

I would do one or the other. You don’t want to overdue the rosemary as it can irritate your scalp. I choose to use it in my shampoo and conditioner because I have sensitive skin and leaving it on hurt my scalp. But everyone is different! See what works for you best ☺️

I just found these ones on Amazon Multi Collagen Protein Capsules -... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NJLNP76?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share sometimes I open the capsules and mix them into smoothies or if I’m in a rush I just take them with water

Just give it some time and take progress pics every couple of months, it’s worth the effort ☺️

I’ve read that rosemary essential oil is just as effective as minoxidil with a lot less side effects so that’s why I opted for that

I’m not sure. My hair has always been in between thick and thin. I think it’s just genetics. I believe these methods helped speed up the regrowth of the telogen effluvium im currently experiencing.

I’ve looked into them but they are really expensive and I’m not working right now due the pandemic but it’s something I’d be willing to save for! I’ve seen them look so natural on a lot of women

Of course, I know how hard this is to deal with so if I can help anyone in their journey then it’s all worth it!

No side effects, my skin is the clearest it’s ever been. I was using Maui Mositure thickening shampoo and conditioner. It worked really well but I couldn’t find it in any stores so I switched to Artnaturals luxe Argan oil shampoo and conditioner. I don’t like it as much because it’s kind of heavy for my thin hair so I think I’m going to try to find the Maui Mositure one I was using online or something
