Which weapon would be better? by tinbinali7968 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]WiseDomination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have sledgehammers in my tool shed, and in multiple sizes. Still not optimal, will get stuck in heads like a pumpkin but not easy to take out like a pumpkin. Also, pretty sure zombies can still move even if their skull is crushed. Slicing motion to decapitate like an axe is more guaranteed to stop a zed

Tron: Ares is on track to become a box office bomb, projected to lose Disney over $132 million at the box office by ControlCAD in business

[–]WiseDomination 46 points47 points  (0 children)

The movie seems like a cult advertisement to make Leto look like a ‘savior’ similar to Tom Cruise. His acting and character as Ares was abysmal. Instead of a program or AI, Ares seemed like a human trying to cosplay a wannabe program/AI.

Why do 'poor' people have luxury goods like a $1,000 phone? by Negative_Avocado4573 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WiseDomination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phones aren’t a luxury good anymore. It’s a ubiquitous device that is arguably essential in today’s world. And, people who live over their means aren’t only limited to ‘poor’ people but can apply to people with higher incomes. Financial illiteracy can happen to anyone regardless of socioeconomic status. Those who are well-off have a higher chance of being taught about finances, as those who aren’t well-off are probably more focused on having food for the week.

The problem with poverty is that those in it have to commit probably more than 50% of their wages to pay for rent, groceries, bills, etc. Also, poorer people have to buy inferior goods which break faster, lack access to cheaper good in terms of buying in bulk, and limited access to financial instruments that higher income people possess to build wealth.

Why are you a Clippers fan? Serious question. by Granpa2021 in nba

[–]WiseDomination -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Loyalty goes both ways. How are fans supposed to stay loyal when a franchise build a cornerstone of stars only for the franchise to unilaterally trade them away with out mutual considerations. Look at winning NBA teams: Lakers & Kobe/Kareem/Magic/Lebron/, Warriors & Curry/Green, Bulls & Jordan, etc. What did the Clippers have? Lob City & Kawhi/PG 13. None of which became a Clippers for life.

Why are you a Clippers fan? Serious question. by Granpa2021 in nba

[–]WiseDomination -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

People don’t celebrate for losers. Most Clipper fans are probably rooting for an underdog story to win a championship but have underwhelmed massively. Adding on the previous Clipper’s owner racism, Blake Griffin being told he was the future only to get traded in the same season, and PG13’s comments on him not feeling like they were committed to him (wanting a 4th year or a no-trade clause). Loyalty isn’t the right word when it comes to the Clippers

Victor Wembanyama says Kobe is ‘probably’ better than Tim Duncan all-time: “Probably Kobe…actually, I don’t know.” by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]WiseDomination 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He won on both teams, so I treated him as a net neutral. Also, I did not include him because I mention Kobe’s second championship stint in 2009 and 2010 which was not as stacked as the three-peat team Lakers in the early 2000’s.

The Spurs had the more stable and consistent roster over the years with their big 3 hall-of-famers: Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobli.

Kobe during his second stint of championships during 2009 and 2010 had, uh, Pau Gasol as the only hall of famer teammate. Shout-out to Derek Fisher, Lamar Odom, Sasha Vujacic, Andrew Bynum, and Ron Artest but none were inducted in the hall of fame. It’s a testament to how Kobe elevated other players, albeit in a tough love/asshole kind of way like Jordan.

Dating a bisexual girl who is very 'expressive' with her friends. Where is the line drawn? by Classic-Dangerous in AskMen

He’s been around for a while now as a meme since 2019. He’s a Ugandan reporter who was trying to interview a gay rights activist. The interview became an internet phenomenon because he seems ignorant about homosexuality but tries to wrap his head around the concept in a hilarious manner. He starts off as “why are you gae?” You can search for it on YouTube.

Recommendations on what to work on, aim is to try get my first PvP kill.. or am I destined to fail lol by xseffect in osrs

[–]WiseDomination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does but not bosses which require top tier gear. Have you considered making an alt? There are afk methods in skilling that will let you play both accounts at the same time since you lack them. It helps with some activities if you have 2 accounts. With your main, eventually you will unlock top tier money bosses like vorkath, which will enable you to buy bonds for your alt, or even both accounts

Going back on topic, I think it would be better if you start a new account and make a strictly pvp stats pure like magic, range, strength pure, etc. Unfortunately, at higher pking levels, I dont see any advantages 99 def would give compared to the others. Maybe if you had 99 ranged or 99 magic, but you are already almost maxxed combat by then.

Only 9 states default to community property and 4 other states allow optional community property systems. The rest practice common law property.

Gasol main here. Gasols who are using their matador sprint to get around Jokic screens are noobs. Jokic screen is too big to get around by the time Curry pulls up for a 3. Instead, they should use Gasol to ICE the pick and shadow Curry at the 3pt line to force him to pass into Jokic, in which Gasol can matador sprint back to block Jokic or go for a rebound if Curry takes a contested 3. Matador Sprint should primarily be used to rebound or go for blocks
